Edit: They hopefully will consider keeping Bumi available past tomorrow, until things are fixed, so that players who were breeding for it in the RBC can get their dragons back and get a few more tries. They've been known to have two limiteds available at the same time, so that's not unprecedented.
I’ve requested this. There are players on Reddit who ran into a lot of problems with Bumi’s parents trapped at a Runic cave, so they were not able to breed Bumi elsewhere. Or they bred Bumi at the RBCs, and don’t have enough time to breed it again, after the Egg History was deleted.
No idea if Deca will extend Bumi’s availability or not, so players should be prepared for her to leave.

I bought runestones to get specific twins and had more to choose from than I could claim. Unfortunately this hit before I cashed any in. So I’d need the history back or more runestones to try again, and it would be nice to know if it is fixable very soon.

Now my egg history is gone and the timer is running out on my activated caves. I read not to use the Runic Caves so what are we supposed to do?

I think all we can do is give them a little time to fix it and to restore what we’ve lost. I’m sure DECA will want to be fair and make the players happy.
Deca has been testing various solutions to resolve the Runic Breeding Caves bug. It is now after 8.00 pm in Germany, so we may not receive any more updates today. If we do, I’ll let everyone know.
I imagine the goal is to restore the Egg History and claims, but we have no specific information on what the DV Team is working on or the status of their tests.
I have mentioned several times that there is a very serious compensation issue with players who purchased Runestones and cannot use the caves they activated. And of course, the loss of event currency from the RBCs for all players. Deca is aware of the situation.
Unfortunately, there is no estimated timeframe for a fix right now.

This must be a nightmare for Deca. I'm sure that they are working furiously trying to find the source of the bug and squash it.
Hopefully they will be able to restore the Egg History, it is hard not using the Runic Breeding Caves - especially on a doubles day.
Like most other people, I also had eggs waiting in the caves that I wanted to claim - I always wait till closer to the end of the event before claiming them. I might change my mind or something better may come along.
Two of the dragons that Deca 'gifted' to me included a rifted Ancestor and a rifted Bushwhack, which I was probably going to claim. There was also a twin Plant dragon - who is ever going to choose a plant dragon?

Uhhh... not sure anymore. My previous eggs vanished. But instead of taking it negatively, I took advantage to re-breed the shorter hatch times & made a record 5000 magic eggs on 1 day (well, it was a double-day). Hope that's not illegal.

Oh the quandary. I logged into one of my parks and activated the bug, then seeing that something was up (sadly, after claiming one of the gifted eggs DOH), came to check the forums. Took the advice to stay out of the parks. But now I’ve forgotten which park I activated. ACK! And Bumi is leaving (was going to have to buy anyway).

If you didn't switch park then the park you'll log on to (assuming you don't have the switch park menu show on startup) will be the one you activated. If you did switch park or have that menu show on startup then just see which park has an empty RBC/fewer RBC gifts than it has claims. Since there hasn't been any update from DECA apart from the initial 'we're working on it' post I don't think it'll be fixed in the next day or two. Fingers crossed of course but I wouldn't get your hopes up. So unless you're happy to miss out on at least a couple of days, you may as well just log in.
Spring was restored and the Vale was growing into green, but Blumi felt there was still something missing — there was no spring fever. As she walked near the Evermore Forest, she hear a cracking noise. When she looked up, CRACKLE was staring at her. 'Crackle, you are what’s missing for spring to fling', said Blumi. Crackle was flattered, but not convinced, 'Me? But I am only an egg.' Blumi smiled, 'Eggs are the beginning, when life begins, where dragons are born, and the start of a good meringue. We cherish the egg on this holiday because the future is in eggs. In the end, the egg is the beginning'. Crackle was beaming under his shell.

I was on auto pilot so it very nearly got released. I would probably have cried.
Now all I need is Bilby/Wolper/Arcrider, Ichigo/Dapplethorn/Crackle/the last limited, and five Chrysalis dragons.
Also, the new dragon looks very cute
I decided to use one RBC claim on a Stoneshell about two weeks ago, as I had tried the whole event to get one in the Rift, but the only one I managed to breed had no trait. BOO!
I already had Minchi from an Egg of Mystery, so surprisingly Stoneshell was the difficult part. It took three weeks to breed a single one-with no trait.

I'm glad I got Monolith 6 after all that time of trying. It's not even 2k EC but I think that's like... 350k etherium I've spent on it? Considering I haven't actually needed it in the meantime I was reeeeaaaallly hoping not to have to buy it otherwise it would all have been a waste.

I do enjoy breeding untraited ones, though I already had a normal and twin Stoneshell at that time, so I didn't need it. Besides, I knew that Stoneshell would eventually be needed for Crackle, and so I had to obtain a rifted one so I could try in the Rift.
I see that my RBC egg history has been restored as of a few minutes ago. I still do have all the claims from the bug in my gift list though. I verified this in all of my parks!

Just logged in to my park and all my eggs are back at the RBCs. If there was something you wanted to claim, I’d do it now before another hiccup makes them disappear!
I had accepted the ones from my gifts, and I still have all my claims remaining as well.
