For those who are new to Rate a Dragon, Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release. This will allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Updates: Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on. Please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utlilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on May 3rd. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Thawsome Spring dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your ratings and comments on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

Please rate the Chikipea dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.

1. Rate Chikipea’s animation quality
2. How would you rate Chikipea’s Rift trait placement and look (the water trait is showing in the above video)
3. Rate Chikipea’s size (you may want to check how Chikipea compares to other dragons in your park; if you don’t own Chikipea, please check a friend’s park)
4. Rate Chikipea’s price (11,700 Eggs)
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event?
6. Rate the attention to detail in Chikipea’s design
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + light + air)
8. How much do you like Chikipea (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!)

The post below is a template you can copy / paste into your reply so it’s easier to rate the dragon. Please be sure to use the template assigned for the dragon, as the questions may vary.
1. Animation 4 It’s good. The leaf spinning around like that does make me feel dizzy though 🤣
2. Rift trait 4 I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's really subtle, but it works, like Kotun. Overall, it's probably as well-placed as it could have been on a design like this.
3. Size (if you don’t own Chikipea, please check a friend’s park) 5 Finally, a dragon that isn’t huuuuuuge.
4. Price (11,700 Eggs) 4 As a first limited goes, this is kind. As an event with two limiteds released at the same time, it is not. 1 point deducted for Solary being released alongside Cherrie.
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event 5 Its description relates it to the beginning of spring so all good here.
6. Design details 4 I like the messiness of the dragon – it makes it feel very natural. The leaf does stick out a bit since it’s a different style. I would also amend my opinion to say it’s the goofy dragons I don’t like (in general); this dragon is cartoony, and I definitely do like it.
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + air + light) 5 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
8. How much do you like Chikipea (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 It’s so cute
Comments: More combos like this please! I personally think there should be at least one element-only combo for the limited new releases every event to slightly make up for stupidly difficult combos — for the first limited would be best, so that people can breed for the dragons required for the later limiteds. Or at the very least, at least one combo that has one dragon and some elements (like Ichigo’s combo).

2. Rift trait 2/5. difficult to see without actually looking for it. would have been better placed on the white fluff, in my opinion.
3. Size (if you don’t own Chikipea, please check a friend’s park) 5/5. it's definitely the size that it is. nothing to say.
4. Price (11,700 Eggs) 5/5. good!
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event 4/5. i love the dandelion fluff thing and it's also green so it's good enough.
6. Design details 5/5. give us more pokemon references it's really funny
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + light + air) 5/5. this is an incredible combo considering how brutal new combos tend to be. please, *please* do more like this.
8. How much do you like Chikipea (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5/5. just a silly fellow

1. Animation 5/5, the leaf spin is fantastic, reminds me heavily of Razor Leaf from Pokemon, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's referencing that considering what Chikipea is based on!
2. Rift trait 3/5, it's ok, but there could be more to it
3. Size (if you don’t own Chikipea, please check a friend’s park) 5/5
4. Price (11,700 Eggs) 3/5
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event 5/5, very spring themed guy, also I guess we know DECA's favourite grass starter? /half-joke
6. Design details 4/5
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + light + air) 5/5, I shouldn't have to explain. Please DECA, give us more element only combos, it really feels like every dragon that releases nowadays has to have a specific breeding pair
8. How much do you like Chikipea (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 4/5
Comments / feedback for Deca The first dragon that's actually based on a Pokemon! And it's a great one at that!
1. 5/5 Great animation. Reminds me of Davinese’s endeavours - fly Chikipea, fly! 2. 3/5 Way too subtle. If you’re going to have a trait, have a trait. 3. 5/5 Perfectly sized. 4. 5/5 Perfectly priced. 5. 5/5 Perfectly themed. 6. 5/5 Obviously lends itself to a certain Pokemon & I’m here for it. 7. 5/5 Yes please. 8. 5/5 Love it.
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event : 5
6. Design details : 5
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + light + air) : 5
8. How much do you like Chikipea : 5
Comments / feedback for Deca : Chikipea’s helicoptering leaf is a great animation even though it breaks off and he lands with a bump, so he never really gets to fly. He is a great dragon that fits in well with the Spring theme and he is an excellent size – not too big. And what a breeding combo! Thank you Deca for giving us such a nice combo.
1. Animation: 5 I think it's adorable the way it jumps up like a kitten, and even though I'm not a huge fan of the spinning leaf, I do love its originality!
2. Rift trait: 5 I don't have it in the rift, but this animation with the water trait looks so good, I'm now sad I don't have one in the rift.
3. Size (if you don’t own Chikipea, please check a friend’s park): 5, I love the size, I honestly think it may be the perfect size for this game. Not too small, not too large, just right.
4. Price (11,700 Eggs): 5, what a great price for a limited!
5. How well does Chikipea fit the theme of the event: 5 Splendidly fits in, I love her so much!
6. Design details: 5- I love the tail with all sorts of tangled flowers and vines. I love that when she grows up she gets fluffier around the neck. Love that her feet are so cute and just kind of hang there. Just precious, great attention to detail.
7. How would you rate Chikipea’s breeding combo (plant + earth + light + air) 5. I love an elemental combo for limiteds. It's such a relief, and makes it easier to breed in the rift!
8. How much do you like Chikipea (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5
