2. Rift trait 3/5. a lot of dragons just can't really have many good places for rift spots, i suppose.
3. Size (if you don’t own Somnig, please check a friend’s park) 3/5. a little big.
4. Price (12,500 Eggs) 2/5. mostly this criticism lies with the fact that this is the most reasonable way to obtain this.x
5. How well does Somnig fit the theme of the event 0/5. what exactly does this have to do with spring?
6. Design details 3/5. this art style of dragon isn't my favourite, i have to say.
7. How would you rate Somnig’s breeding combo (SNOOZ + FAE) 0/5. there are no words to describe how terrible this combo is. having a dragon from last year is absolutely unfair, especially one so difficult to obtain as fae. i may be just one person, but i *implore* you never to do this again.
8. How much do you like Somnig (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 2/5. a lot of issues, though i do like it because i have one that seems to have a magic touch with making twins.
He’s a sleepy one, so you don’t expect a lot of animation.
2. Rift trait: 5/5
There isn’t much to the trait on Somnig, but it works very well, since he has enormous blocks of colour. Nobody wants the dragon to entirely change colours due to the trait.
3. Size (if you don’t own Somnig, please check a friend’s park): 2/5
Yeah, he is gigantic! I don’t think it’s necessary.
4. Price (12,500 Eggs): 4.5/5
5. How well does Somnig fit the theme of the event: 1/5
I don’t see how a sleepy, overslept dragon has anything to do with spring. I know the storyline is that spring came late to the Vale, but an over-hibernated dragon doesn’t scream or even hint at spring.
6. Design details: 5/5
7. How would you rate Somnig’s breeding combo (SNOOZ + FAE): 1/5
Snooz + Fae is easily the worst breeding combo for all the new event dragons, and easily one of the worst in the game. Firstly, Snooz and Fae are difficult to obtain with lengthy family trees filled with epics. Secondly, you can’t even breed Fae unless you own Snooz, because Snooz is in Fae’s breeding hint (?!). So it doesn’t make any sense to put these two dragons in a combo. Thirdly, Snooz contributes all 10 elements. Therefore, the 2.95 breeding percentage is reduced to a mere .56%! There were endless complaints about the difficulty in breeding Somnig and trying to obtain a traited version in the Rift.
When 6-10 elements are in the breeding combo from one or both parents, please adjust the breeding percentage accordingly, so the dragon isn’t near impossible to breed. Thank you 😊

Comments / feedback for Deca
There’s been a new interest in creating dragons with giraffe-like necks. It started with Hydnellum, and really made progress with Lovesick and Nomnoter. I like Somnig’s design. As an adult, it’s very unique and original. It is utterly endearing that he holds his tail like a security blanket. And of course, baby Somnig is unbelievably adorable.

1. Animation: 3/5 The sleepy walking is fine. I do wish he'd wake a bit and look around. The fall was... expected. Y'all like to make dragons fall over. What really bothers me is the animation where he's roaring and lashes out and straightens. It feels very wrong. Is he lashing out at imaginary threats because he's too tired to think straight? Anyway, it's unnervingly fast. The phrase 'let sleeping dogs lie' comes to mind.
2. Rift trait: 3/5 A little too unrepresented
3. Size: 4/5 I know it's like a sleeping giant/bear awakening from winter, but that's a pretty large dragon to just be wandering around with its eyes closed. zzz
4. Price (12,500 Eggs): 5/5 Given the insane combo, this is a good price, I think.
5. Theme: 5/5 Great for the winter into spring theme
6. Design details: 5/5 The fur is neat. Just wish he opened his eyes a crack now and then. The colours are... ok.
7. Breeding combo (SNOOZ + FAE): 1/5 You've read it before, but I guess I'll reiterate. Difficult combo to prepare - check. Contributes all elements - check. Incredibly low breeding odds - check. Definitely sounds like a winner. Please just stop. Or make it the most amazing, epic Dream element dragon anyone has ever seen. This combo was completely unnecessary for Somnig.

Comments: The security blanket shtick is, in my opinion, this dragon's most endearing feature. The long, hanging neck bothers me a bit. I mean it works and all, I just don't love it. But I'm also glad it doesn't look exactly like a bear. The idea is good. The dragon is fine. I'm not a super fan of the baby like others are, but that's ok. I'm glad he has fans. I know Deca isn't looking for comments on eggs, but in case this bit can tag along - I'm really not enjoying all the external additions the new eggs are getting. This one has a tuft of fur down low for some reason. The egg really didn't need it. The art can hold its own.

Comments / feedback for Deca Somnig makes me smile - it is such a fabulous depiction of a somnulent dragon struggling to waken for Spring.
