FYI: Scribe, Mushry, and Invento are not in any Dragonarium subcategories. Therefore, they are not affecting red fire. Hopefully, they’ll be added soon. The issue has been reported.

Man, the koalas have NOT been on my side, I haven't managed to breed any new dragons since the event started. Lunar Eclipse is almost gone and all I keep getting is more arctic dragons. They could at least give me a derecho egg, that way I have a non-rift one of those...

Out of interest, is there a lore reason why Neoteric has such high odds? It's always intrigued me that it's got a 12% chance to get it from its combo. That's better than any single parent cloning chance I've seen, apart from common (and some rare) permanent hybrids but that's only because they always get combo + cloning odds.

I like Scribe! He does remind me of Paper. This is a really interesting dragon and a very good way to start off the limiteds.
I agree! Although I would have preferred a slightly easier-to-meet combo for the first limited, Scryer's not too awful to get (Lunk's the main issue due to Neoteric's incredible odds) and Scribe is obviously very well related to the specific theme of this event.
I also personally think this dragon is a cool balance between Backflip's more simple designs and DECA's more complex designs - I don't let the difference bother me but I know some people would prefer DECA had the same art style as Backflip, so at least this simpler design will satisfy that wish 😊

I think so too. I love Scryer but they didn’t need to use it in Scribe’s combo. Or if they really wanted to use Scryer they could have skipped Paper. There’s too many elements with Scryer and Paper. Scribe isn’t going to be easy to breed.

I always need to use gems to clone the new dragons. I do this on a Double Day to also receive more event currency. It’s usually worth it when the cloning percentage is 10%. But if it’s a lot lower, like 1%, it’ll likely be a waste of gems.

Neoteric was released on December 31st for New Year's 2016. Backflip probably made the dragon easy to breed because it was a New Year's gift.
