Located at the bottom of each page, the Jukebox is a chatbox filled with links to a wide variety of music. Why read the Forum in silence, when you can have a soundtrack? Click on your selected tune and let the song run in the background while you peruse and chat with your Forum friends.
The Jukebox music will be related to the event theme. Midway through the event all the music will be switched to a new playlist so everything is kept fresh. But if you want a song to return, just let us know.

JUKEBOX REQUESTS
All members are encouraged to make requests. We would love to add your preferred tunes to the Jukebox! Just post the name of the song and the artist/composer on this thread. You can also provide a link to a recording or video.
When making a request, please keep in mind:
1. Requests should be related to the theme of the event. The Jukebox team may not add music that does not fit the theme.
2. Songs with profanity or questionable, controversial, or offensive content will not be included. Since we are a public site, please keep everything family-friendly. If there are lyrics in the song you’re requesting, be sure to read the lyrics before making the request.
3. Currently, we are using SoundCloud to link music in the Jukebox. If there’s a copyright issue or a song requires a subscription, it will not be added. We may consider other platforms in the future.
4. Requested songs should be 2-10 minutes long.
5. If a player makes more than one request, depending on the number of requests received, the Jukebox team may not include all the songs.
6. If there are a large number of requests, some may not be added. The Jukebox team will determine which songs will be accepted.
7. If a request is accepted, it will be added to the Jukebox within a week, or when time permits. If it’s added close to when the Jukebox changes its music mid-event, the song may remain on the Jukebox.
Please be aware, these rules can be modified, updated, or revised at any time.

If you’re referring to 'Walk Like an Egyptian', yes there have been ongoing discussions about whether the song is offensive or not. While many do not feel it’s offensive, they do believe it promotes a stereotype. I know everyone will have a different perspective, but we try to keep the Forum open, accepting, and inclusive. Plus, there are a lot of other songs about the desert and Egypt that do not raise any controversy. ☺️

Don't forget you can always find the music yourself if you want to listen to it 😊 A while ago I bookmarked some YT music on my browser and I listen to that as I'm playing/reading the forum/doing anything on my computer, really 😂 I don't know if there's a similar thing on SoundCloud, but on YT you can create playlists and just have one song play after another.

If you register with SoundCloud, you can create playlist just as on YouTube and Spotify. So there’s definitely that option too, although some popular songs are only available under their “premium” plan, unfortunately.
