PSA: New Cloning Percentages for the Zodiac Dragons
The Game Representatives took your feedback to Deca, and the lovely DV Team agreed to change the cloning percentages for all the Zodiac dragons!
Here are the new percentages. The first number is for single cloning (any dragon + target dragon). The second number is for double cloning (target dragon + target dragon). The double cloning percentages did not change.

No, it was an error. Deca fixed it right away, but it only takes a second to spoil a dragon.

I do agree it’s great the breeding odds have been improved but what about those of us that have already used a truck load of gems trying to clone them. I ran through more than 2000 gems 😥 to get just two of them.

I spent 750 gems trying to clone one of the new Zodiacs. I definitely understand what you’re saying, although I was not impacted as greatly as you. This is the huge drawback to changing the percentages after the event starts. It is bittersweet for those who fought the odds. But I think, in the end, it’s better for the event and the game if the percentages are changed now instead of after the event or never. There are upcoming limited dragons that can benefit from these better percentages and future event dragons too.
You can contact Deca and ask to be reimbursed, but I do not know their policy, or how they would determine the amount to refund. Hopefully, in the future, dragons will be released with higher percentages and there will be no need to alter them.

Thanks, I absolutely agree it’s much better for the game to do it now. It will hopefully make it easier for me to get the one I’m missing 😉 Thanks for your suggestion, I have messaged Deca support in the hope they may take pity on me and give me some of the gems back. I wouldn’t expect to get all of them back as it’s not unusual for me to use around a 1000 gems at the start of an event to get the new non-breedable dragons and then I save up again for the next event. I was just a little sad when I used up so many of my ‘savings’ to not get all three.

I am so glad the koalas were in my park for Capricornian, since against all odds, I managed to hit the 1% on the second try. As a result, it only costed me the usage of Kairos and Gaia.

I spent more than that but I see it as getting all that event currency for the speed breeding so its not all bad

Fourth attempt for Scorponian (since the increases anyway 😂) and it is mine! Thank you adlerist for putting it up! 10% odds are the best.
I also noticed that one of the two returning Zodiacs that got 10% odds rather than 4% was Ariesian. I'm thankful to DECA for giving the Zodiac with all 10 elements 10% odds!
This was a good day! Finally got Scorpionian (glad for the new breeding odds even tho I already used a ton of gems). In Rift, i breed 2 traited dragons I didn’t previously have: Atramento and Coldcoil!

I did manage to get the third zodiac dragon this morning (thank you Adlerist for sharing your Scorpionian and for the twin Capricornian at the beginning of the event when the odds were worse!).
I do agree the added bonus of speed breeding with lots of gems at the start of an event does give you a head start on collecting EC. So if Deca says I can have some gems back but I have to surrender EC I would more than likely say no thanks.
Having played DV for 11 years (with one small break) I’ve made lots of hasty purchases and speed ups that I’ve regretted after rules/odds have changed. You’d think I would have learned by now slow and steady wins the race!
Oh and the kitty is Noodles, he is 13 years old now 😁

I’m experiencing frequent game crashes with this update, especially at the end of watching a video. I’m on the latest iOS on both my phone and iPad and it happens in both devices. Anyone else experiencing more frequent crashes?
Yes, I have too. Especially when speeding up a breed by watching an ad. The game crashes, it attempts to reload itself, but gets stuck on the loading screen. I have to force quit the app and restart. Then it works. And, the speed up has usually taken place. I've updated DV but not IOS.
I was trying for Scout with Scout + Valor in Co-Op and got a Frons!
The last time I was playing when Frons was available, it looked quite a bit different 😂
