For those who are new to Rate a Dragon, Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utlilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on September 20th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

1. Animation 4.5 Not too much happens but what’s there is great, especially when it shoots the arrow of stars.
2. Rift trait 3.5 I like that it’s not over-traited but I do think a little more could have been done. Possibly a subtle traiting on the wings or the arrow.
3. Size (if you don’t own Sagittarian, please check a friend’s park) 4 A little bit on the big side but not too bad.
4. Price (14,000 EC) 1.5 Not great for a first limited, though given its easy combo, good odds and the fact it can get combo and cloning odds, I’m not as bothered by it as I would be if it were a dragon with a horrible combo and low odds. It’s still unfair for new and/or casual players, however, hence the low score. Score decreased by 0.5 for the extra limited and the fourth unbreedable.
5. How well does Sagittarian fit the theme of the event 5 Obviously.
6. Design details 4.5 Such a gorgeous dragon! I love that its wings are flames and that it looks like a child of Seraph. The colour scheme is amazing. The head especially is really well designed. It works well as a horse-like dragon. However, I’m not a fan of the ‘hooves’ in the baby version (adult is fine) since they look like too much like boots and not really like hooves. It was noted on the subreddit that the front legs look off. I don’t know much about horse anatomy myself, but a lot of people agreed, so this might be something to consider if in future DECA makes more horse-like dragons.
7. How would you rate Sagittarian’s breeding combo (Seraph + fire element) 5 A combo without Rainbow fails! Like with quite a lot of Zodiac combos (especially from Camping Under the Stars II), the required dragon gets combo + cloning odds and has a long incubation time — but with the lack of Rainbow fails that’s really not bad. Thanks, DECA!

Comments: I just wanted to say again that the Zodiacs were a brilliant addition to an already amazing game (you’ll be hearing that a lot this event).

Trait: 4/5 Should have put it on the stars and arrow which appear as a prop in its animation.
Size: 4/5 Usually I like dragons this size but it's a bit small when compared to the other zodiacs.
Price: 2/5 Although still quite overpriced, the price hike between Capricornian and Sagittarian was not as large as typical, which relieves the pain a little bit. But not by a lot.
Theme: 5/5 As a recurring event from last year, there is no explanation needed.
Design: 5/5 DECA did a really great job on Sagittarian.
Combo: 4/5 Overall, it is a great combo that fits the dragon. The worst part about it is how long it takes to breed and hatch a Seraph Dragon, which can make breeding for Sagittarian tedious if you get unlucky with parent-cloning failures.
Preference: 5/5 All the zodiacs are great.
Comments: It is going to be difficult to pick my favorite of the Zodiac Dragons. There are so many and all of them have phenomenal designs. The eggs especially are beautiful and make great pedestals.
1. Animation 5 - very pretty animation! The flying is a bit stiff but it’s very excusable given how cool the other animations are!
2. Rift trait 5 - great placement! Not too distracting and fills up a good amount of space.
3. Size (if you don’t own Sagittarian, please check a friend’s park) 4 - just a tad too big, but size doesn’t bother me much
4. Price (14,000 Star Dust) 3 - too expensive. While the breeding pair isn’t too hard, it’s a lot of stardust for a first limited. I’m playing this event pretty casually, and I have just barely hit 14k. If this trend continues, I won’t have enough stardust for nonlimited dragons.
5. How well does Sagittarian fit the theme of the event 5 - perfectly well!
6. Design details 5 - I could go on and on about design, but I’ll keep to this: it’s a very well balanced design imo, being detailed enough to fit in with the other zodiacs but not enough to look too cluttered.

1. Animation 3 Sagittarians move like they are bolted together. Most of the “equine type” dragons lack fluidity, I say most because I didn’t go back and check them all.
2. Rift trait 4 It isn’t a matter of placement, for me some of the trait colors are not saturated enough, I would love fire on Sag if it was more red

Comments / feedback for Deca : Nice shooting arrow and star animation. Baby Sagittarian is tiny and too small, but Level 20 Sagittarian is a good size that fits with the other Zodiac dragons that it shares a habitat with. The head seems too small and detailed on the adult. Really like the wings. Very subtle rift trait, an air trait is barely visible; putting the trait on the wings only would have worked well.

Comments / feedback for Deca: Again with the wonky legs even though it mainly looks like another robot. However, the bow and arrow animation is awesome and the wings are pretty.

Comments / feedback for Deca: The colors of this dragon are just stunning. What a beautiful dragon, though a bit goofy, but just so pretty. Reminds me of the colors of the Aurum dragon, kind of oil-swirled metallic.
