Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on September 20th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

1. Animation 1 I guess its design doesn’t really lend itself to moving much but that doesn’t change the fact that NOTHING happens in its animation. Apart from a roar and the scales tilting slightly.
2. Rift trait 3 The only traited part that’s obvious is the scales. You have to wait for the trait to “light up” for it to be obvious on the other parts, and even then there isn’t much of it. The wings or tail could have gotten a subtle traiting. I do like how the scales were traited though.
3. Size (if you don’t own Librian, please check a friend’s park) 3 Way too big, but at least Leonian has a friend now.
4. Price (14,900 EC) 2.5 It would be reasonable without the extra limited (Shadowflash), but with the extra limited it’s not fair.
5. How well does Librian fit the theme of the event 5 Obviously.
6. Design details 4.5 The colour scheme is awesome. I love how it’s symmetrical, like scales (and unlike the rest of the game 😉). It took me a while to work out that what I thought were claws were scales, and while I get what they’re supposed to be now, they still look odd. I think they could have worked better as actual claws that happen to look like scales rather than random bits hanging off the wings.
7. How would you rate Librian’s breeding combo (Stygian + air) 4.5 There are quite a few long fail times with this one, though that’s mostly Combustion’s fault (why is it 2.5 days?!). The required dragon is pretty accessible. (Apart from those of us unlucky enough to have a version of the game that actively works against the player having a traited Stygian, that is!)
8. How much do you like Librian (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 You’re probably spotting a theme here, that being “Zodiac = Perfect”. And this is probably my least favourite Zodiac so the fact I love this one too says a lot. DECA did really well with these dragons 😊
Comments: Its egg is very, very similar to Taurian’s, which is a bit surprising since they’re different elements. While I don’t mind it too much since the Zodiac eggs are pretty, it would be nice if they could differ slightly more than they do.
Animation: 5/5 Although there is not a lot going on, I see Librian as a dragon which has a calm temperament.
Trait: 2/5 There needs to be quite a bit more. When I watched the animation, I didn't even see the trait until about ten seconds in - which tells me that there is not enough for a significant change.
Size: 5/5 Fits well with the other zodiacs.
Price: 1.5/5 It is getting pretty up there in price. Considering that Shadowflash was an unexpected (yet pleasant) surprise release, it does not help that Librian is so expensive.
Theme: 5/5 No explanation nessecary.
Design: 4/5 Similarily to Capricornian, the lack of design on the tail is a little inconsistent compared to the other zodiac dragons.
Combo: 4.5/5 Overall, Stygian is not a bad pick considering the anatomy of Librian and the fact that Stygian's combo is elemental. However, I would almost prefer the Vipera Dragon instead of Stygian, as it is much more snakelike than the latter.
Preference: 4.5/5 All of the zodiacs are amazing looking. Although I do not like Librian as much as some of the others, it is still a great addition.
Comments: I am with @metaphoricalrobin on not naming the dragon "Librarian". It would have been both more fitting and sillier.
(We need to petition to change it XD).

Comments / feedback for Deca: I think it is a clever depiction of a set of scales for a dragon, and I get why it is not moving that much (if that was the intention 😀)..Whatever it is carrying on its arm/wing reminds me of weight training..😂
1. Animation 3 - what’s there looks good, but way more could’ve been done. I get that it can’t really move much because of the positioning of its arms, but something like it tilting the scales dramatically would’ve looked good.
2. Rift trait 3 - I’m so conflicted on this one, because while there’s barely enough traiting to even notice it, I’m in love with the traiting on the scales’ lights.
3. Size (if you don’t own Librian, please check a friend’s park) 5 - looks great! Not too big to stick out, but not too small to drown in the other large zodiacs
4. Price (14,900 Star Dust) 2 - as usual, way too high. Though, the stygian dragon was made pretty cheap this event, so the breeding pair being fairly easy to access is the only thing saving the price from being a 1

6. Design details 5 - a very original design that’s not too busy to get lost in, but not too simple to look awkward when compared to other zodiacs. Color scheme is also great

How would you rate Librian’s breeding combo (STYGIAN + air) 4 - I can understand stygian being included because it represents the “underworld” and where you go after death is often based on a judgement made by a higher power. While stygian looks very little like the librian dragon, the idea behind it is very smart.
8. How much do you like Librian (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 - would give a 6/5 if it was allowed! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: so many dragons of this event look amazing and I wish I could have them all!! (if my breeding luck wasn’t so shoddy lol)

2. Rift trait 2/5, I got this one with an air trait, and I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't tell where the trait was supposed to be. With traits like dark you can see it but it's still minimal and they could have added more

Comments / feedback for Deca So at first I did really like this one but after a while my opinion did change on it (not a bad thing!), the design isn't bad at all, in fact it's pretty good but there's other zodiacs I prefer more to libra
Btw, sorry for taking a while to rate dragons! I've been pretty busy with classes as of late

Comments / feedback for Deca : Librian has very little animation – really only a side shuffle. Perhaps he’s worried about tipping out whatever is in the scales. The trait is too subtle, could hardly see it, really needs some more. I really like Librian’s colours. It has a very small head, so it is difficult to see the detail. Unsure why an Olympus dragon is needed to breed a Zodiac dragon.
