Halloween is not complete without a portal to transport you to strange upside-down places and dark mysterious corners of the imagination. Take this Whitbee-approved Portal to the next dimension and thoroughly experience the Halloween season (but don’t forget your way back home!). Simply rate all the new Whitbee’s Candy Bash X: Into the Screamhouse dragons before the event concludes on 8 November, and you'll be transported to new realms and discoveries every night!
Since we have completed two full years of Rate a Dragon, there are now two previous Halloween awards to offer. Instead of The Portal, you can choose the Bone Dragon from last year’s Whitbee’s Candy Bash IX: XI Hsab Ydnac S’eebtihw or Redeye the Raven from Whitbee’s Candy Bash XIII: Into the Night. So many options! After you’re done rating the Into the Screamhouse dragons, message me, and the Bone Dragon or Redeye the Raven will be added to your profile instead.
AWARD RULES
1. You must be a Forum member to receive an award because guest profiles are not retained.
2. Awards will display on your Profile page and mini profile. To see the awards, you’ll need to view the Forum in its desktop version since the mobile version does not support many features, including the full mini profile.
3. Awards will be permanent, but if you do not want them or would like them removed, just let me know.
4. If you prefer to not post publicly, you can message me your dragon ratings before the event concludes, and you will still receive the award.
5. Please be aware that awards will be added to your profile up to 12 days after the event concludes, depending on how busy the next event becomes, bug reports, schedules, and real life. Thank you for your patience.

1. 4 Not that much animation happens but it’s okay. 2. 4 A bit on the big side but not too bad. 3. 1 Same comment as Eww/Shackle for price. 4. 5 The theme is pretty obvious. 5. 5 The design is great, and I love that it has night/day forms. In general this event, DECA has done well with making dragons that fit the Halloween vibe without being overly “scary” (I know that last year some people felt, in particular, Hydnellum was a bit too much on the scary/gross side for a game that is meant to be light-hearted). 6. 4.5 The only “problem” with the combo is that Infernus’ odds aren’t amazing, but 2% isn’t bad. Also, the only long fail times are the permanent rainbows, which are pretty hard to avoid (though with that said, maybe DECA could have chosen a second dragon that doesn’t add the water and cold elements, since they don’t make sense for Magma). Lava + dark element would have worked better, and been incredibly accessible — anyone who didn’t yet have access to the dark element could clone Magma, and it would have had cloning and combo odds. 7. 4 Overall, awesome dragon — just, as with every single dragon (apart from maybe Shadowflash) since the beginning of Dunes of Magic, it *needs* to be cheaper. Comments: Its egg is cool.

Comments / feedback for Deca: love the animation of it jumping into the crack which it created. I didn’t even know it has a night/day version until I read someone’ s comments. 😀 I love the eerie green night version, which I thought is its color since I have my park in night mode all the time 😝.
Animation: 5/5 DECA did a good job on Magma's animation.
Size: 3/5 Magma is a bit too small considering the details incorporated. It is a bit difficult to see all the tiny features.
Price: 1/5 The prices this event are just absurd. It would take about a week of regular play just to rack up the EC needed to buy this dragon.
Theme: 5/5 You cannot have a castle without a lava moat, and a magma monster to inhabit that moat is just what we need!
Design: 4.5/5 Thou dragon is a little bit of a chonk, and due to this its proportions appear slightly off. I do enjoy the fact that it has a day/night form.
Combo: 5/5 Finally, a breeding combo this event which is relatively easy! And as an added bonus, it fits too!
Preference: 4/5 Overall, I really enjoyed this dragon. However, it gets an unfortunate -1 for being too chonky for my tastes.
Comment: The Magma Dragon pictured above is in its night form - so if it looks different in your park, then your park is set to day.
