2. How would you rate Snowdrop’s Rift trait placement and look (the metal trait is showing in the above video): 2/5 The placement should have been inverted since its limbs are near unrecognizable.
3. Rate Snowdrop’s size (you may want to check how Snowdrop compares to other dragons in your park; if you don’t own Snowdrop, please check a friend’s park): 5/5 I don't see any problems!
4. Rate Snowdrop’s price (15,000 Iceberries): 5/5 New limiteds has always been at the similar price.
5. How well does Snowdrop fit the theme of the event: 5/5 It is definitely wintry and great.
6. Rate Snowdrop’s design: 5/5 I am usually icked out by the insect-looking dragons but this one looks like a real pretty moth.
7. How would you rate Snowdrop’s breeding combo (ICEBOUND + RAIN): 5/5 Definitely reasonable and both can easily be obtained!!

SNOWDROP DRAGON 1. Animation: 2 2. Rift trait: 4, it's not the most nice-looking but I can't think of a better way of doing the rift trait. 3. There's so many dragons about snow, it's getting too repetitive in my opinion. Reusing another dragon's animation isn't really helping. I am pretty disappointed about this dragon, and I hope that the team can take more time and consideration into its design. I'd prefer to have less but more unique-looking newbies in events.

Comments/feedback for Deca. Rift trait is a bit much, but certainly makes a big contrast between each rifted version. I'm very fond of cold traited. Overall I really like SNOWDROP, it's a very pretty addition.

The only real problem I have with Snowdrop’s animation is that it’s Lightmare animation. And while recycling animations isn’t an issue (it’s done a lot in DV), the animation for Lightmare is perfect for Lightmare and its backstory. It enhances the dragon. In addition, Lightmare is one of the most stunning dragons in the game. So, if you’re going to use its design or animation for another, it’ll immediately result in comparisons between the two dragons. And since Lightmare is very beloved and recognised for its elegant beauty, this puts Snowdrop in a tough position, since it’s hard to believe another dragon can top or match Lightmare.
It would’ve been amazing if Snowdrop had some translucency like Lightmare. That would’ve given a lot of gracefulness to the dragon. It appears Snowdrop is based on a moth and a snowflake. Snowflakes have a light, translucent feel to them. They’re not heavy and solid white.
In Snowdrop’s description, it says the dragon 'unfurls its wings adorned with radiant bulbs that flicker like stars in the night… the enchanted bulbs cascade, transforming the realm into a winter wonderland aglow with festive cheer'. This would’ve been incredible in the animation! Instead, there’s one glowing spot (the dream Lightmare catches). By reusing Lightmare, it took away from Snowdrop by denying it a potentially spectacular animation.
But I’ve dwelled too much on Lightmare. Snowdrop is wonderful, and the breeding combo is great. The trait is pretty overwhelming. It probably would’ve looked better if the blue colour on the dragon was traited instead of the white. The artist did an outstanding job designing Snowdrop. I absolutely love the stick-like outlines, and how it gives an antler-like appearance on the head.

1. Animation 2/5 Lightmare’s animation is very obvious with the ball of light it chases, so there’s no way players were not going to notice that Snowdrop used it. It’s OK for Snowdrop, but doesn’t really fit.
2. Rift trait 2/5 I don’t like the full body traits. It makes it so the dragon only looks good in a few traits and that’s it.
