I usually love bird like dragons, but Grandeur just somehow completely missed the mark for me. I really really love his colour-scheme, but the body shape and animations just fall flat somehow. Interestingly, I can almost feel how dense and fluffy his belly would be. He reminds me of a domestic goose. I can imagine hoisting him up and hugging him. The baby is a bit too cutesy "Littlest Pet Shop" for me, but I'm glad it has fans. The story is sad and it's also a bit odd to inform the audience that the species was know by Valers before the accident changed them. That means they should have existed in our Dragonariums before now. Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think maybe the story should have been about Daylily dragons receiving the accidental spell. Since the breeding combo is Daylily + elements, it would stand to reason that Daylilies were standing around the lake when the spell went haywire and hit them with Cold and Air elements - poof - insta-Grandeurs! no? hmm. I know traiting isn't listed here, but since I went ahead and claimed him, I'll just say I really like how it was done. Thanks for making the price doable. Re the combo, Daylily initially felt weird because it isn't a winter event dragon, but I'm all for it. I'm down with Deca using older, permanent dragons! They're unexpected and a nice change from the constant use of the previous year's new content. Bravo, Deca!

Comments / feedback for Deca. I should like Grandeur more than I do, it's a strong, robust, elegant looking dragon. Somehow, it reminds me of a seagull and I'm not that fond of them.

Grandeur’s tail is as grand as his name! But sadly, in the animation, it doesn’t move at all; it’s like a broomstick. Overall, the animation is super stiff. It gives Grandeur a flat look, like a paper doll with its appendages attached by pins.
The Rift trait placement is excellent. Grandeur doesn’t have a rating for the Rift trait since it wasn’t breedable, but I claimed the traited-twin version from the Runic Breeding Caves. I like how the trait is on the darker parts of the dragon and gradually blends with the white colour of the body.
In a big way, baby Grandeur saves the day. He is absolutely precious!

I love the idea of a gigantic snow bird! But unfortunately, it looks like Grandeur was rushed and there was no time to animate it, so it’s disappointing. Sadly, the dragon does not live up to its name.
