Sandakloz’s Hut

The holiday season can’t begin without a sleigh bursting with wintry treats and toys from Sandakloz. It’s a well-known fact that Sandakloz’s Hut is 'holiday headquarters'. All the goodies and delights are created, packaged, and distributed from here. Own the centrepiece of the celebration, the buzz of the season, the talk of the town, the hub of the holidays, and the heart of winter. Simply rate all the Snowy Winter Ball dragons before the event concludes on 24 January, and you'll have Sandakloz’s Hut and season’s greetings every day of the year!

Since we have completed two years of Rate a Dragon, there are now two previous winter awards to offer. Instead of Sandakloz’s Hut, you can choose the Igloo from last year’s Frostivale Yulebration, or if you prefer ice bears over ice houses, the Polar Bear from Season of Goodiness. So many options! After you’re done rating the Snowy Winter Ball dragons, message me, and the Igloo or the Polar Bear will be added to your profile instead.

                       

AWARD RULES

1. You must be a Forum member to receive an award because guest profiles are not retained.

2. Awards will display on your Profile page and mini profile. To see the awards, you’ll need to view the Forum in its desktop version since the mobile version does not support many features, including the full mini profile.

3. Awards will be permanent, but if you do not want them or would like them removed, just let me know.

4. If you prefer to not post publicly, you can message me your dragon ratings before the event concludes, and you will still receive the award.

5. Please be aware that awards will be added to your profile up to 12 days after the event concludes, depending on how busy the next event becomes, bug reports, schedules, and real life. Thank you for your patience.

Comments / feedback for Deca : I like that Grandeur is ice-skating in the habitat and it has a tippy toe ‘dancing’ animation. Grandeur’s description ties it in well to the event with having ‘wintryfied’ feathers. Good size and a nice breeding combo which is accessible to all players. Daylily already contributes air; it is not necessary to specify it in the breeding combo. Listing redundant elements in the breeding combo confuses players. A nice addition to the game.

Comments / feedback for Deca: I am not quite sure how I feel about this dragon. Its backstory feels a bit sad for me, it being frozen. I am interpreting that it was a swan (elegant) before it got frozen. Sadly, now, it looks like an ostrich to me, notwithstanding its name of being “grand”. 🤔 But the baby is cute. 🥰

Thine cast judgment upon thee Grandeur Dragon:

Animation: 2.5/5 Was really anticipating Grandeur to be more... proficient in dancing. It is quite elegant of a dragon, although its animation shows a complete lack of personality.

Size: 4.5/5 Considering the detail put into Grandeur, the dragon is about right for its size.

Price: 4/5 Overall, the pricing is about where it should be. Perhaps a smidge cheaper considering the large amount of dragons available during this event, but also not unbearable.

Theme: 5/5 What's a winter ball without an elegant dancer?

Design: 5/5 Grandeur is elegant in every way. Especially its baby form.

Combo: 5/5 The combo is simple and is roughly fitting.

Preference: 4.5/5 Although I greatly prefer Icecarade, Grandeur is sure to make a stellar addition to your park.
