I think a lot of people feel that way about the Rift if they end up trying it out - I was certainly the same. It takes a while to develop, but once you're earning ten or twenty thousand (or more) etherium a day, it's a good source of breeding attempts.

The rift can be confusing and frustrating when it is first unlocked and a player needs to collect from the rift regularly to obtain enough etherium to buy more habitats and do some rift breeds. But once a player has a well developed rift nothing beats it for the number of breeding attempts it is possible to do in a day. 😊

That's what I call them too! "Shiny" I have a harmonious habitat with 4 shiny Cherrie dragons and their different coloured cherry trees. Makes me happy to look at them.

This is not a good event for me! I’m struggling. I even had a friend send me a screen shot showing the two of us got Twin Fluffydoodles - but I didn’t get one! I’ve bred for Helianthus continuously in Rift without luck, although I’ve gotten lots of eggs with the same or lower odds. Frustrating! Guess I need to put out more food for koalas. I’m willing to settle for a wonky wombat at this point.

I think I give them a rough idea of the time, and they’ve always delivered the missing twin to me pretty quickly, within a business day or two. I like how responsive Deca Support is.

When you say that you didn't hear anything back, did you get the automated confirmation email that they received your email? If you didn't, then they probably didn't receive it and you would need to send it again. 😊
Can I get twin and/or traited dragons from wishes? I have a number of unused wishes and thought I might use some to get dragons that are required for upcoming limited breeds to help my odds with more caves etc. I already have one of every dragon required , non-twins, if I wish for one I’ve already got will it be it ever be a twin or traited? Eg I have two regular dragons that are required for upcoming but no twin or traited, if I use a wish for another of those will it be just another regular one?

Twin yes, traited only if it's a Rift-exclusive. DECA has been asked if they could add the option to wish for traited dragons, since it's one of the most common requests.

The Vale dragons gathered around Gardenia to curiously see her special Valentine's Day surprise. Next to Gardenia was LOVEY, the loveliest dragon they had ever witnessed. It exuded love. The dragons were very charmed and impressed. 'Oh, but there is more,' teased Gardenia. From her pocket, she revealed a bottle of love potion. The dragons were mesmerised as they had only heard rumours of such a concoction. Gardenia sprinkled a touch of potion on Lovey, and quicker than instant coffee and microwaved leftovers, Lovey transformed into LOVEYDOVEY. It was the greatest magic the wizards and dragons had ever seen in their magical land. Loveydovey was doubly lovely! Everybody gasped and cheered and rolled in delight.
Lovey is in the co-op transforming with twice the love. Happy Valentine’s Day! Koala love to all!

Cloning percentage: Cannot be cloned with one Loveydovey. Loveydovey + Loveydovey = 20%
Evolve process: To evolve Lovey into Loveydovey, remove three Magical Petals from Petal Island. The prices to clear the petals are 1,000 Roses, 1,000 Roses, and 2,000 Roses. Each removal takes 24 hours. Once you’ve cleared the three petals, a chest will be revealed. Open it, and the Love Potion decoration will be delivered to your Gifts. Place the Love Potion in your park, and you can evolve Lovey into Loveydovey for 1,000 Roses.

Okay, everything's happening at once so I need to work out what to prioritise... My main question is, will it still be possible to evolve Lovey to Loveydovey after this week, and will it still be possible to clear the island?
If it will still be possible to evolve Lovey after this week my order of priority will be Lovey (hopefully traited) - Delirium - Portent - clone Lovey to evolve, but if it won't be possible I might change my plan a bit.
I have to say I'm grateful to DECA for making Lovey 10% clone, they probably see that DW coinciding with a limited that is needed to be bred this week to evolve for a new dragon is a lot so it's nice of them to give us an easy way to get it. (It wouldn't have hurt to keep it till next year when Lovey was permanently available in the event, but I'll take what I can get...)
I do absolutely adore both new dragons though. Loveydovey's my favourite 😍
