Comments:
All these dragons that are embodiments of whatever event we're in feels like a cop-out. A dragon made of petals just because it's a thing to do is fine. Enough with the embodiment stuff. The rift traiting is subtle. There could be more, but I do like the way it was done. Size is good compared to other dragons. Unfortunately, this is a very detailed dragon and all of the intricate work is just lost. I feel bad saying this, but I agree with some other players here that Blossom has a meaty look to it (because I can't see the actual details in-game). It reminds me of the anatomy colouring book I had. Its neck looks like hamstring muscles. I DO like the way its tail ends in a heart shape, and when I can make out the flowers, I quite like them. The petals floating around it are nice. I also really like the muted pink colour scheme. It just doesn't help avoid the look of muscle texturing.
The breeding combo was a bit annoying. It took me quite a while to get Divi in the Rift. My alt couldn't get Rosebud and gave up. With the usual influx of new dragon content, triple breeding for the new evolution AND dragon week, I didn't have the time early on in the event to breed for either Divi or the incredibly difficult Rosebud.
Overall, while Blossom was beautifully implemented, if overdetailed, I feel like it just doesn't have the creativity that made the other new dragons so fun and special. The baby is ok, but very much in following with the new style being used. They're all kind of clones. The egg is... interesting. Oh, I'm also not sure why Blossom is an Aura dragon (apart from the event theme). Feels more like a Seasonal.
