How do you get Hedera in the rift? Do you have to get it as a gift?
The easiest ways are by getting a twin and traited with RBCs or by buying the monolith EOM and either getting Hedera directly or getting/breeding its base.

I have NO Monolith dragons in the rift. I have 3 Monolith eggs in a runic cave that I got today, but have no idea which ones they are. 🤷♀️ Thank you for responding!!

If you have spare etherium the Monolith EoM guarantees a traited version so you would only need two to get started trying for the base.

Mosser is a great looking dragon. And he's going in a Monolith Habitat! He looks like he will be right at home there.
Interesting! All this time I assumed that Monolith habitats only held Monolith dragons. Since you said you were putting your Mosser dragon into a Monolith habitat, I went and looked and now see that they also hold earth and plant dragons. What a pleasant surprise! This is super useful as there's probably a number of places I'm using Giant Plant habitats where I could swap in a Large Monolith. Did this change with the Monolith habitats happen recently, or did I just miss when it happened?
There's been a few quiet changes to habitats in recent months. Snowflake habitats now hold cold dragons, the Large Omnitat capacity went up to 7, and the Harmonious habitat capacity increased to 6. I'll have to look around to make sure I'm not missing anything else!

There have been several habitat changes in the last couple of events. The Monolith habitat change happened at the beginning of this event (as well as a Chrysalis habitat change)
I'll try and remember them all and summarise them here. I'm sure they've all been mentioned elsewhere on the Forum.
Monolith habitats have had earth and plant elements added. The Large Monolith habitat has had a DC cap increase from 1,500,000 to 1,750,000. Chrysalis habitats have had air and light elements added. Harmonious habitats now hold 6 dragons. Also a DC cap increase from 1,500,000 to 1,750,000.
The Megatat has had a DC cap increase to 10,000,000 The Omegatat has had a DC cap increase to 25,000,000
Snowflake habitats have had the cold element added. Large Omnitats now hold 7 dragons, Regular Omnitats hold 5 dragons.
Thank you so very much, oomagooma25! I love how you wave off 1% cloning odds and just twin it anyway 🤯🤩. I’ve sent you gleaming gems and springtime treats in great awe and appreciation. Many cheers!

Regarding runic cave breeding, am U correct to believe that if I have a regular dragon and a traited version, the version I receive from the runic cave can only be the traited twin. Suggestions to get the regular twin?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that you just get a regular twin if you claim a gift/EoM/RBC breed when you have a normal and traited variant but no twin. But I'm not 100% sure. You'd be able to check by opening the 'claims left: 1' icon and searching for the dragon you're thinking about, but you'll have to breed it in an RBC first if you haven't already.
If it's the case that it does give you specifically a traited twin and you just want a regular version, you can ask on the Co-Op thread for someone to put up the dragon. It'll probably be a while until the next twin weekend since we only just had one, but a twin may show up in the meantime if you continually breed it.
Plus, if it's a dragon that other people might want to clone/twin, if you set it as your Co-Op dragon, your friends might use it, and you might just happen to get a twin.

TL;DR: In your example, you will be given a twin version of the dragon at the RBC.
The version of the dragon you'll receive at the RBC, Wishing Well, permanent mystery eggs, Daily Rewards, and final event reward are as follows:
• Don’t own it = regular • Own regular = twin • Own twin = traited-twin
The order does not recognise traited versions. A traited dragon is the same as a regular dragon as far as the RBC, Wishing Well, Daily Rewards, final event reward and permanent mystery eggs are concerned.
The only exception is the limited mystery eggs (Chrysalis, Monolith, Galaxy, Snowflake). These eggs only provide traited versions of the dragon, so if you own a traited variant, you will be given a traited-twin.
For reference, if you or any other players need this information, it is on the Help Desk. Help Desk > DV Features > Mystery Eggs

Mosser has enjoyed his time at the picnic, but it is now time for him to head home. Mosser and his pedestal will be leaving the Vale at reset on Thursday. Breed or buy your Mosser now before it is too late.

Don't forget to use your Runestone to open a completely new RBC to get an extra claim!
(At the moment this will just mean avoiding re-opening the one you opened during the tutorial, which will probably be the one left of the permanent one, unless you've since bought Runestones. The way you can tell if you've opened one already is by opening the Egg History menu, and if the 'Claims left: 1' icon is greyed out, it hasn't been used yet. It'll be lit up or will say 0 if you've already opened that RBC.)
And make way for a brand new contest… Name That Egg!
Name That Egg will begin on Thursday, April 11th at 14:00 UTC (DV’s daily reset). The contest will only run for four days, so be sure to check the scores regularly, and enter as frequently as you can. (Don’t forget to practice with the Name That Egg mini-game on the event island!)

The plans for Kaleni's most scrumptious and toothsome picnic were quickly coming together. It would be a picnic to reign over and end all other picnics. A picnic that would go down in Picnic History as the greatest ever. But when he discovered his pumpermelons had not ripened, picnic panic set in. He raced to the Forests of Farn and found MELOVINE, the pumpermelon prophet with a special clairvoyance of pumpermelon perception. Melovine slowly looked up at Kaleni, and before Kaleni could express his melon dilemma, Melovine methodically said, 'They will ripen in time for your picnic'.
Melovine is in the co-op giving away free samples of the most mouth-watering pumpermelons. Koalamelon to all!
Breeding hint: CLAIRVOYANT + plant + water
Incubation time: 15 hours
Habitats/elements: plant, water, light
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 4%; co-op clone: 10%
Cloning dragons:
Elders • Plant, Water, Light
Hybrids • Nectar, Seaweed, Lotus
PRO TIPS:
• Cloning at the co-op: using Clairvoyant to clone with a friend’s Melovine will give you both cloning and breeding percentages for a total of 14%.
• Breeding in the Rift: to increase the Etherium earned from breeding fails, try Clairvoyant + Frond.
Many cheers to MinyaZ for the cloning dragons!

Got the Melovine in two tries in my Epic Breeding Sanctuary with my Clairvoyant and Canna. First time I get a limited fellow so quickly! You know what? I'm happy!
Name That Egg isn’t just a game in your DragonVale park. It’s also a brand new contest on the DV Community Forum!
Is the mini-game Name That Egg your forte? Are you the fastest egg guesser in the Vale? Do you count dragon eggs in your sleep? Test your egg skills and compete with other players. Full contest details are on the Name That Egg thread.

What do you mean by this part? I thought releasing dragons in the Rift only ever gave 100 Etherium. Did I misinterpret something?
Sorry, I meant EC. Things have been really busy lately, so EC and E merged into one.
