I was SO happy when I got my Runestone today! I decided what I wanted to spend it on - a twin Lightmare! If it's in the next event like last year, I'll have a traited-twin with that event's gift! (And I'll be getting a traited-twin Snooz with this event's gift as well.)

Can somebody help me out? What are the best dragons to collect in order from 1-10? From the ruin breeding caves.
Prioritise ones you don't have. Limiteds should be top priority, then permanent epics, then all the rest, with those that have blue borders being harder to breed normally than those without a blue border. Blue-border dragons that are either plant/metal, fire/cold, earth/air, water/lightning or light/dark hybrids (e.g. Mirage, Blue Fire) are even harder to get since you can't breed their single-element parents together so those would be the top priority of the dragons not listed below.
Limiteds [#1 priority]: Clairvoyant Wyrmwood (though you definitely already have one if you managed to breed it this event so I'd only suggest getting another if you want a twin or pedestal, or are collecting duplicates in general)
Without spending real money on Runestones you get five claims total. I'd suggest Clairvoyant, Duskwing, Snowy Silver, Moon and Double Rainbow (or, if you're collecting dupes, get Wyrmwood instead of DR).
However, be aware that there's over a week of the event remaining and you might breed a dragon you want more in that time. I wouldn't suggest leaving claiming till the last moment, just in case a bug causes something to mean you can't claim from RBCs, but I would suggest leaving it until the last two or three days, unless there are dragons you absolutely know you want.

So, when the daily Reward is 25 gems and you watch the “double your reward” ad, why did I only get 25 gems. The ad played all the way through without crashing but the reward did not double. Are the gems not doubled??? Between that and the game crashing on every farmhouse egg ad, this is getting frustrating!

Once you finished watching the ad, did you get a pop-up that said something along the lines of "thanks for watching, here's your reward: 50 gems"? I get that pop-up when I use the daily reward ad to double it. If you didn't get that pop-up, maybe something happened between closing the ad and when it gave you the reward that caused it to glitch.

I did get the pop up and it said “50 gems”. I have had so many problems with crashes that I took screen shots before and after. Only 25 gems awarded. 😭
If you received the pop-up message stating you earned 50 gems, the 50 gems were added to your total. The first 25 gems are delivered immediately upon opening the daily reward. The second 25 gems are received after you watch the advert.
You can contact support and ask them to look at your game before reset and after you logged on yesterday. They can tell you if there’s a difference of 50 gems that were added to your total.

Thanks adlerist. It sounds like the picnic was a great success. Basket is cute. I love the bright colours. If it's hiding in a picnic basket it won't be mistaken for food. 😉
I'm pleased that we have the extra days to breed Basket. I have a feeling it might be challenging to breed with the number of long fails that are possible.
The final RAD thread for Basket, along with the poll to vote for the top Bountiful Picnic dragons will be released on Wednesday, May 1st.

Welp, after over a month, I have bit the bullet and bought a Pangolian . Hopefully Basket goes smoother; albeit the fact that I also failed to get a rift tansy, which I have been trying for since the start of this event.

It doesn't matter. If you're not meeting the whole combo it doesn't add any odds.
FWIW Basket only has plant, water, earth as hidden elements so Tansy only adds one unnecessary element to the mix, but according to the Compendium adding elements doesn't change cloning odds so that doesn't really mean anything.
You'd be better off using an elder or one of the dragons that adlerist/MinyaZ suggest on the post with Basket's info. The suggested non-elders are always the ones that would result in the shortest average breeding times. Btw, cloning suggestions are given for every new release and will mention if it's possible to get combo + cloning odds at the same time, and if so what you'd need to do.
However, the combo odds for Basket are better than its Co-Op cloning odds so you might prefer to use its combo, despite there being more elements. So it may make more sense to use the EBI with its combo (especially if you've upgraded it), or the Rift.
