Animation: 4/5 The animation could use a bit more personality, although overall it is pretty good.
Size: 4.5/5 Could be just a teeny bit smaller.
Price: 1.5/5 For a starter, 14,000 is quite a lot. Especially considering that its co-op odds are 10%, it should be much cheaper than that.
Theme: 5/5 Not much explanation is necessary.
Design: 5/5 Glider is very well done. Despite not featuring the classic DV art style, its features are something to love.
Combo: 1.5/5 Although there is only one locked parent, it is a red herring to the pain and suffering one must go through to acquire that parent. Arcrider has one of, if not the longest parent chain of any dragon in this event, and Glider further extends upon that chain.
Preference: 4.5/5 Despite my hate for squirrels, Glider is a nice addition. Something about it gives life to the Vale - although I am unsure what.
Comments: Here's a fun fact:
The Glider Dragon's is not entirely based on flying squirrels. Instead, the dragon's name and design is partially based upon a similar creature known as the sugar glider, which are tiny marsupials that feed on nectar.
Sugar gliders are also super adorable - I encourage ye to search them on the internet.

Comments/feedback for Deca
It’s wonderful to have flying squirrels represented in the Vale! A flying squirrel dragon offers lots of opportunities for inventive animation. I love how Glider glides, but he could’ve moved a little more and circled around (like Arcrider’s animation) or became smaller and larger, giving the illusion of depth (like Davinese’s animation). An acorn permanently affixed to the tail looks anti-gravity unusual. Instead, the acorn that suddenly appears and Glider tosses back into oblivion could’ve been the acorn in its tail.
Lovely shading on this dragon. I really like how the chest, underside, and tail look fluffy.
For the breeding combo, Arcrider is an extremely difficult dragon to breed because both parents have extensive family trees that include dragons with low breeding percentages. Four elements would’ve been the perfect breeding combo for Glider — plant + earth + light + air.

1. Animation: 2.5/5, almost really fun, the acorn scoop and toss into the tail would be so characterful and would go a long way to adding some interest to this dragon if the tail didn't remain almost entirely stationary for the whole thing. The acorn doesn't even disappear and reappear as it's caught, it makes the movement and intention difficult to read. Done correctly I think this would give a really fun and almost acrobatic vibe to this dragon, scooping and effortlessly flipping and catching stolen food. I like how the spread wings and the back legs are being used almost like a bird of prey, to make it seem more dragon-like.
2. Size (if you don’t own Glider, please check a friend’s park): 3/5, needs to be fairly large to get all that detail clear. I don't think it's particularly squirrel-like though, I can't imagine one hiding in a tree and gliding in to steal food like the description suggests. You'd spot it a mile off! If you managed to miss that barrelling towards your food, you deserve your picnic nicked. Then and again, the idea of that is pretty funny, so points for if it was intentionally a little at odds with the description.
3. Price (14,000 Eggs): 1/5, expensive.
4. How well does Glider fit the theme of the event: 3.5/5, squirrels are definitely associated with spring and the eating/storing food gimmick is picnic related.
5. Rate Glider’s design: 2/5, this is just a stylised flying squirrel. It's not a bad flying squirrel design, it looks very soft and fluffy, and , but this doesn't resemble a dragon at all. Even the colours are grounded, without any sort of fantastical accent to break it up. Even a small change like a fun unnatural accent colour amongst the neutrals I think would do wonders for making it look more interesting and mythical. It's not an eyesore by any means, it's lovely art, just not a dragon.
6. How would you rate Glider’s breeding combo (ARCRIDER + earth + air + light): 2/5, arcrider is a flying dragon, but the similarities seem to end there.
7. How much do you like Glider (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 1.5/5, I'm never much of a fan of dragons that are just real-world animals with little to no creative twist, but I can see how this would appeal to somebody who loves the animal it's based on due to the high quality artwork.

Comments/feedback for Deca Glider is a nice dragon but it lacks a special spark to make it stand out. It’s cool that it’s a flying squirrel, but if it had an interesting animation or something more captivating in its design than an acorn that’s weirdly stuck to its tail, it would be a lovable dragon. As a result, this dragon seems rushed and unfinished.
