Hello, FluffyOstrich! Last week, when I put the breeding and cloning percentages on the breeding chart, I ran all the event dragons through the Parent Finder. Just so I’m clear, the percentages provided in the DV Lair simulator are the base percentages, not the actual percentages, taking the breeding outcomes into consideration. The breeding percentage lowers as the offspring pool grows. But the percentages shown were still the base percentages. For example, Efreet has a base percentage of 4.3%, but the actual percentage is 1.4% with so many outcomes. If there are a lot of offspring due to five or more primary elements in the breeding combo, and the player wants the actual percentage, they’ll need to use the Compendium or the Sandbox. Is that correct?
The list of breeding combos looks terrific! Thanks to the changes you made earlier, before releasing the simulator on the Forum. It’s very helpful to have the combos organised by available dragons and the breeding times of the parents. Amazing work, FluffyOstrich!

All of the percentages are taken directly from The Compendium.
I just tested, and the base percentages are also shown in the Combo Finder sheet in The Compendium ✅.
The DragonVale Lair mimics this behaviour by displaying only the base percentages for each parent combination.
That makes the most sense, as many dragons have multiple parent combinations.
Running each combination through The Breeding Simulator would be extremely stressful for the systems 💥.
But for dragons with one parent combination, this might be a bit confusing to grasp first-hand 🤔.
Maybe I should add a disclaimer: "Base odds may be reduced further. The Breeding Simulator gives more precise odds." 👀?
Or am I completely missing something?

I have had The DragonVale Lair running this month for everyone to use, and I can now share some statistics with you ✨.
The API has processed 🔥3839🔥 requests throughout July 2024 (approx. 124 requests per day ❤️🔥).
And the requests have been distributed like this:
- Breeding Simulator: 1277 requests (33%)
- Parent Finder: 2024 requests (53%)
- Quest Matcher: 538 requests (14%)

The website is amazing! Just a tiny bit of feedback though - in the parent finder the results aren't displayed in the order I would expect aka it doesn't show the highest percentages first unlike in the compendium. Could this be implemented as this would make the tool much more useful

If you click on the Options gear icon, ⚙️ the pop up gives you the choice to sort by incubation time or chance. Select the one you want and hit the ❤️ button again for the result. 😊

New month, new ✨ statistics ✨.
It was a month filled with the Anniversary Contest, the release of a breeding simulator in-game and on the wiki, and a week where the sandbox servers were down. Crazy 😵💫.
The API has processed 23 695 👀🤯 requests (approximately 790 requests daily 😍), a 300% increase since last month. It is awesome 🫶!

I may set up the statistics in a Google Sheet, so I have a better overview of the usage in the future 🤔.
Wow. That is a huge increase from last month. More and more players are discovering the DV Lair. It complements the Compendium and Sandbox well and I'm sure that many players use all three resources. 😊
