I was quite sick for the last several days and I am finding it harder to stay motivated with GN. I am feeling better again and back to checking in on my bots at least two to three times per day. I wish they'd come out with some new bot.

I so envy you, wanted that to be our city this year. koala to you, we are backing the Niners, too. Not as heartily as if the Seahawks were there, but just can't back the Ravens.
Is that the biggest sport event in the us? I remember seeing it on the news a couple of years ago because someone showed her breast for a portion of a second and it was a huge controversy there. It was funny here because we allow nudity on our tv channels and we didn't see the problem. On the otherhand, we do not allow adverts aimed at children on our tv channels. It is really annoying because the cartoon network on cable circumvents that law by being channeled from the uk (but all in swedish) where it is legal. I wish they would disallow that little trick!

NHL hockey and the Stanley Cup Playoffs is the biggest sporting event in the US, they just don't appreciate it yet.
A 30 second ad during the 2013 Super Bowl costs $4 million. Companies don't spend that kind of cash unless they expect it to be seen by millions of people, so yeah, I'd say it is our most watched sporting event.
Seems we like to get worked up over just about any subject these days. If we aren't being offended, we aren't breathing.
It was funny. I guess in rehearsal there wasn't any costume failure but on live tv... Janet Jackson had her top ripped off by Justin Timberlake. Looked deliberate to me and not a costume failure. So now it isn't live anymore there is a 60 second delay or something like that to ensure no other incidents.
Hockey couldn't even get its act together sufficiently to put together a real season this year. And though the San Jose Sharks are beloved here, hockey has a tenuous hold on here in California where skating on the ice is a rather foreign concept. Football is universal.
Guess it depends on the level of rivalry. Ours' is on the fun level and never to hurt each other. I put insulting cartoons for my computer background and he pretends to be hurt by it. Hard to do while trying to hide a grin. This has been going on for almost 40 years.
Oh I see. I've never been really insulted (maybe some minor things here and there) but I've been harassed and bullied about politics *shudders* not going there!
Anyways, I'm reading Catching Fire (Book 2 in Hunger Games). Thought movie was really good. Not too violent.
LOVED The Hunger Games series. I am still confused from the last book though or..not sure if confused is the right word..not sure how I feel about it anyways.
I am still reading GOT books. Finally on book 4, a bit over half way through. I'm quite bored with this one but getting through it. Book 3 was AWESOME!!! Some sad parts but some really happy parts as well! ;D
Survivor must be coming back soon girls!!! My husband said he recorded some kind of preview of the new season but he only caught part of it. I have yet to watch it.
I totally thought JatZ would've come out for Single Lady & put a "ring on it" BUT Destiny's Child was cool! Rugby would be fun to watch! Hard to find on Tv though. Maybe internet
