I really am not a fan of this dragon. First and foremost, this event is called "Deepest Depths", right? Am I missing something? Shelly can't live too far from shore if it's gotta grab new shells all the time. I was looking forward to strange, maybe slightly scary looking deep ocean life and we got this. *sigh*

Shelly's face is cute (and the baby is very cute too), but that's where it ends. What kind of shell is that around its body? It looks like Shelly swam around the Mediterranean and found some ancient Roman arm armour or gold jewelry to slide into. The colours are fine. The wing are weird, but fine. The small shells just glommed onto its body just make no sense to me.

The animations don't bother me much because I don't spend any time looking at Shelly. When I do watch him, he seems a little too active. That long legged swinging - what's he doing? Looks like he's going to fling himself into the water or something.

The center body pieces do not look like 'shells'.  (???)
The arms, legs, wings, and head do not look properly connected to the body.
Extremely limited color choices look overbearing.

This is a cute dragon. A lot of people think of shells on the beach, not at the bottom of the ocean, but they are at the bottom of the ocean as well, so Shelly does fit the theme.
