Comments/feedback for Deca I don't like this one quite as much as Sipho, but this is another stunning fan-made dragon. Huge congrats to Mola!

4 - I hate squid so much that I wish they were extinct, but this dragon looks really good. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is the original design was very cute and had this sleepy vibe to it that didn't translate into the game's design.

4 - Makes sense, but I think I would remove fire from it and make it be (IKATAKO + water) instead.

Comments/feedback for Deca: Cute animation. I like the puffing up of the chest and diving motion. The backflip looks a little strange. Love the colours; they complement each other beautifully. The one-eyed egg is superb. Congratulations to Mola. Redfrill is a great addition to the game.

1. Animation: 3/5, Most of the animations are really well done, and suit the dragon perfectly! However, the lack of a roar animation that actually shows off the mouth like in the concept art is a massive let down. With a little warped perspective, it could still have been shown off from the side. Additionally, the front fins not being spread and animated to move like an octopus as in the concept art takes away from the dynamism massively. I have no idea why Deca insists on restricting a lot of designs to having stilted, unmoving animations on the limbs especially. They've shown they can do some amazing things with designs they felt needed it, and this one absolutely should have been one of those cases.
2. Size: 5/5, absolutely massive for an octopus, which adds to the deep-sea monster vibe!
3. Price (11,000 Doubloons): 3/5
4. How well does Redfrill fit the theme of the event: 5/5, one of the best fitting dragons to be a deep sea creature.
5. Rate Redfrill’s design: 4/5, Overall just an amazing concept and design from the original artist! This one was translated much more faithfully than Sipho, which is a relief, but some more weird tweaks and edits happened. I prefer the darker, more purple accents on the original due to the contrast with red, making an almost sunset-like feel (the dots are even sort of starry!). The poses in the original are much more dynamic, natural and fluid, which I understand is due to the greater range in perspective, but a lot of the elegance is lost with the rigid curled pose. Mostly, like I said in the animation section, I just wish the roar design was actually utilised in-game somehow instead of just being implied.

7. How much do you like Redfrill: 4/5, A great fan design that was incorporated into the game almost perfectly. Strong theming, nice colours, great animation... just overall one of the most solid designs from the event!

Comments/feedback for Deca: I love this dragon just as much as I love Ikatako. Really nice that both are fan designed! The red color is so vibrant, and love that big eye! It would be really nice if it squirts ink after puffing its chest. 😄
Animation: 2/5 Redfrill's animation is rather unsettling to me, especially when it puffs up its chest.
Size: 5/5 Size is just about right.
Price: 5/5 11,000 is reasonable for an event starting dragon.
Theme: 5/5 No explanation is nessecary.
Design: 5/5 DECA kept the design of Redfrill nearly identical to Mola's original concept, while making it a backflip-esque style at the same time.
Combo: 5/5 Ikatako is not terribly difficult to obtain, and unlike others, it actually fits well.
Preference: 3/5 Although redfrill is a great new fan-inspired dragon to the game, I had never really been a liker or disliker of its concept. (However, Mola's original artwork was phenomenal).
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Redfrill's animation is fantastic! The absolute best in the event. It really brings Redfrill to life and gives him lots of personality.
MolaMolasses's Bloodfrill is a thrill! The design is outstanding, and the talented drawings have incredible movement that gives to the animation. Brilliant! Everybody fell in love with Bloodfrill on Reddit and Discord. So we are very pleased the Deca stayed true to the design since it is perfect and needed no change.
A vampire squid-inspired dragon really fits the event and the game. And Ikatako in the breeding combo totally works. This was one of the few new breeding combos that didn’t have any issues.
Absolutely love Bloodfrill and Redfrill! They are sublime additions to the Vale. Top marks across the board!

Comments/feedback for Deca This is such a cool dragon! One of my favorites in this event for sure. MolaMolasses’ design of Bloodfrill is amazing! I like the pose of MolaMolasses’ baby dragon, but DECA’s version is very cute too. The dragon’s one big eye is fabulous!

CONGRATULATIONS MOLA!!! I'm so happy that Deca decided to develop your design! They stayed so true to the original too! I love the animations they gave Redfrill. Very fitting and fun. They even learned from Euryale and got those tentacles moving individually! Woo Hoo! I love the colours and fun shapes of the original design and I think Deca translated everything really well. The singular eye is so much fun. Bravo to Deca for seeing a great design presented to them and using it! Redfill could live in Deca's coral reef theme, or, I could see him hiding in the deeper depths. He's also a really nice size in my park.
I have nothing but rave reviews for Redfrill. I'm so happy they made it to the Vale. What a fantastic sea-themed addition. This dragon just exemplifies why community contests should continue.
