HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
We would be honoured to have you aboard and take this journey through the Vale with you. If you have any questions, concerns, tips, island designs, creative work, etc, or if you’d just like to say hello, we’d love to hear from you! Registering is super easy, only requires an email, and takes less than a minute.
At the top of the DV Community Forum click Register
• Enter your email address and click Continue.
• Create a password and provide your name (your name will not display anywhere on your profile, and Forum admins and mods do not have access to this information). Enter your birthdate (this is to ensure users are over 13 years old. The information is not shared on your profile or with staff members unless you unhide your birthdate in your profile settings (Profile > Edit Profile button > Privacy tab > Birthday Visibility). Birthdates cannot be changed. Click Continue.
• Create your Forum Username: Your username cannot be changed. It is the name other members will use to @/tag/ping you. In your profile settings, you can change your display name (Profile > Edit Profile button > Personal tab > Display Name). The display name shows on your profile and all your posts. Click Continue.
• You will be sent an activation key to your email. Enter the activation key, and that’s it!
