WELCOME BACK TO THE 27TH ROUND OF RATE A DRAGON

Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.

Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons into the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and relevant to the dragon.

The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on October 9th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

Comments/feedback for Deca: Great animation with the vine pop-up and the tongue catching a fly. Appropriate for the chameleon-like Feiya. Excellent rift placement in all the right places. Feiya is a very pretty, colourful dragon. The wings are outstanding. Nice amount of detail. Great breeding combo, easily obtainable by all. A nice summery dragon.

1. 5/5 Added extras are always getting top marks from me
2. 5/5 Well placed. Effective while not taking away from the fabulous, original colours
3. 5/5 I mean the wings are massive but all in all a good size
4. 4/5 A bit pricey but it won’t be the worst!
5. 4/5 It looks summery & its backstory helps
6. 4/5 A little bulky in the body but gorgeous wings
7. 5/5 A combination that makes sense
8. 4/5 A welcome addition

Really pretty dragon, I just don’t get how it fits the theme. Maybe with the animation? The description doesn’t help at all. If anything, the description makes this dragon less related to school.

1. Animation: 4/5, Very characterful, and the lashing chameleon tongue caught me by surprise! I especially like the swaying it does when walking, it really resembles a real chameleon and how they seem to rock back and forth before taking a step. However, given all the effort to include a vine, I wish the animation was a little more connected to the description, like prop flowers or petals showing off its camouflage!


2. Rift trait: 5/5, Lovely, elegant, not garish at all!


3. Size- 3/5: Absolutely huge! I thought it was supposed to hide in flowers?! Perhaps they're magical, giant flora, but I feel that this adds even more reason to include them in the animation?


4. Price (12,000 Magic): 2/5


5. How well does Feiya fit the theme of the event: 3/5, Butterflies are more of a spring-type theme in my opinion, but with the summer colours on the wings it's definitely not out of place! It doesn't relate to schoolwork at all though.


6. Rate Feiya’s design: 4/5, A super interesting combination of concepts! The chameleon comes through in subtle but fitting ways, like the curled tail, tongue, and walking/swaying animation, but it doesn't distract from the butterfly aspect at all! I do wish the "camouflage" aspect of a chameleon was leaned into more visually given the mention in the description though!


7. Breeding combo (BELLFLOWER + lightning): 3/5, This one gets points for being a nice easy one for people with not a lot of dragons, but I'm confused about the inclusion of lightning and absence of butterfly in this combo!


8. How much do you like Feiya: 4/5, A lovely, pretty dragon with a lot of character and beautiful colouring! It just needs a little more synergy with its description.
