Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons into the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and relevant to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on October 9th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Summerthings Magical II dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your feedback on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

Please rate the Alchemy dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.

5. How well does Alchemy fit the theme of the event: 5
6. Rate Alchemy’s design: 4.5
7. How would you rate Alchemy’s breeding combo (GLASS + QUICKSILVER): 5
8. How much do you like Alchemy: 4
Comments/feedback for Deca: Love the egg, a little bottle with a cork. The baby is cute, but not a big fan of the adult with the stretched out kind of boney arms. The breeding combo looks easy, but the metal element contributes to a lot of long fails.

Comments/feedback for Deca: Baby Alchemy bobbing around in a potions bottle is very cute. An interesting design, but the symbols on the arm and body are too small for players to see in game. The different coloured auras/wings? to signify the different potions is well done. These look great with a rift trait. Another good combo for newer players to obtain, but the metal element leads to many long fails.
Enough with Aura dragons in random events please. I know you can add dragons wherever you like, but Aura dragons belong in the Valentine event, just like Apocalypse dragons belong in the Halloween event.

1. Animation: 4/5, The animation that is there of this dragon popping out of the bottles is wonderful and really sells it as a dragon "potion". I do wish there were more animations that lean into the alchemical nature though, especially incorporating the large gaseous wings because they seem like there should be much more motion with those. Even some extra flair like the alchemical symbols lighting up to add a little more character and draw attention to those details would do a lot for this dragon, because it has so much going for it conceptually when it comes to characterful animations!
2. Rift trait: 5/5, This trait takes up a lot of space on the dragon but really sells the concept of a dragon-potion imbued with rift power that's showing through the gases, and adds some of that movement to the wings!
3. Size: 3/5, I'm glad that the bottles are reasonably small in comparison to guests! But most of the details on this dragon aren't very visible on a mobile phone screen, but the wings take up so much space in comparison I can see why they were hesitant to make it bigger. Maybe the gas on the wings should be more transparent or even just broken up into flurries of gas clouds.
4. Price (16,000 Magic): 1/5
5. How well does Alchemy fit the theme of the event: 5/5, The description even contains an ingredients list for this "potion", straight from a schoolbook!
6. Rate Alchemy’s design: 4/5, An absolutely beautiful and complex design, I love the cool white of the body, with all the details and hidden alchemical symbols. One of my favourite details is the horns and how they resemble glass bottle necks with gas pouring from them as they transition into transparent; the details are just exemplary! I also love the gaseous aspect, the colourful gaseous tail spilling from the bottles has so much movement to it visually, but I feel like this is kind of lost in the wings, which feel like a static negative space. Especially in comparison to the rest of the design, I feel like the gas on the wings needs some more detail or to be separated into "ribbons" of gas like the tail, just to avoid such a strong plain block of colour. Even reducing the opacity would help quite a bit and "sell" it as gas. The second set of wings definitely helps break them up, but they draw so much attention and take up so much visual area that the detail on the body can't show off as much. The baby is also a masterfully cute design, sitting in the little potion bottle! Adorable!
7. Breeding combo (GLASS + QUICKSILVER): 5/5, Quicksilver being incorporated as a very common alchemical ingredient and the glass to represent the bottle is extremely clever!
8. How much do you like Alchemy: 4/5, I absolutely love the main body of this dragon, the wings just need a few tweaks to bring attention to the other details and reduce that negative space! It's such a cool and fun concept, conjuring your own dragon potion, and executed in an equally fun way. Another favourite from this event!
1. 5/5 Fabulous animation 2. 5/5 Brilliant use of the different traits 3. 5/5 A good size 4. 2/5 Not a good price 5. 5/5 Love the description 6. 3/5 This is usually my kind of dragon but something’s not right. Too much going on perhaps & some details lost in the melee 7. 3/5 While the combination makes sense in theory, the long fails are a huge letdown 8. 4/5 It’s interesting but a slightly wasted opportunity for something great I think
3. Size (if you don’t own Alchemy, please check a friend’s park) 5
4. Price (16,000 Magic) 5
5. How well does Alchemy fit the theme of the event 5
6. Rate Alchemy’s design 3 The dragon shape and details are nice but I seriously dislike the pink and blue on the wings (those colors and two different wings) and my first thought was "that looks too sweet for my idea of alchemy" but it grew on me with the animation and the rift traits (same on both wings) look great
7. How would you rate Alchemy’s breeding combo (GLASS + QUICKSILVER) 5
8. How much do you like Alchemy (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 4.5 would be 3.5 but the rift looks bring it up
3. Size (if you don’t own Alchemy, please check a friend’s park)
5
4. Price (16,000 Magic)
2, I dont hate how high this price as there were so many ways to get extra EC with event being long and Eggy Hatchy, but it is still really really high

Animation: 4/5 The aspect of going into and out of a potion puts this dragon together well.
Trait: 5/5 Trait placement is very creative and one of the best I have seen in a long while.
Size: 3.5/5 Could be a little bit larger.
Price: 1.5/5 Woah, that's up there. Even with it being an epic, 16k is really expensive.
Theme: 3/5 Although I can see the correlation in some ways, I do not in others. The reference to Solus and Lunara makes me think more of the valentine's event...
Design: 5/5 I really enjoy the use of alchemical symbols which are hidden within the dragon.
Combo: 4/5 Although the combo is simple, quicksilver contributes a number of long fails, including a geode fakeout as well as bronze and even worse -- platinum.
Preference: 4.5/5 Overall a great addition, I prefer the baby over the adult.
