I bought one Draco dragon and the dig site. I upgraded the dig site four times and then evolved my Draco dragon until he became a Dracomancy. My Dragonarium is still not breathing fire. Do I have to buy more Draco dragons and fully evolve them until I've done four of them to get my Dragonarium breathing fire again.
It's all too much for this 83 year old pea brain!

I believe you will need the base (1000 candy) version PLUS the fully upgraded version to count as having both dragons.
There are two Dracomancy dragons in the Dragonarium and it’s not entirely clear to me which versions are which. I understand that Draco1 and Draco4 are distinct in the Dragonarium, but where do Draco2 and Draco3 fit in? Do they get grouped with Draco1 because they are not fully evolved, or do they get grouped with Draco4 because they are no longer the base version?
I suspect it’s the latter, but I don’t want to evolve my Draco1 to find out. I haven’t yet decided if I want to have all four versions in my park or just stick with 1 and 4 to keep my Dragonarium happy.
From what Deca has told us, Draco2 and Draco3 are not tied to Draco1 and Draco4. Players can collect them, but they have no bearing on the game's collections.

• If the Ominous Digsite is upgraded, it will now show as owned in the Dragonarium (players do not need to purchase another Digsite). After the Digsite is upgraded, the original Digsite will show as unowned in the event market. This will allow players to purchase additional Digsites.
• Deca is still working on adding the stage numbers to Dracomancy’s icons so players can tell them apart at the Cooperative Breeding Cave. In the meantime, please use Greggerman’s ingenious tip to determine if a friend’s dragon in the co-op is Dracomancy1 or Dracomancy4. Thank you, greggerman! I will share your brilliant tip with the other DV communities and credit you.
Since Dracomancy 1 and 4 are separate dragons in the Dragonarium, you can put the one you are trying to clone on your wishlist and make sure the other one isn’t on your wishlist. Then when you go to the Co-op cave, you can filter the dragons by your wishlist and you’ll only see the ones that are a match.
• Dracomancy has two quests, one for Dracomancy1 and one for Dracomancy4. (Dracomancy2 and Dracomancy3 can be sent on the quests, but they will not be the correct dragons.)
(These quests have been added to the first page of this thread)

And there is always time for a Rift Rant. Is anyone else having trouble breeding a traited Scourge dragon? I’m about to pass out in the Whine Lounge. You’re not supposed to drink alone either.

This guy certainly is a head scratcher! I think mine is destined to stay a floating head in my park for now, as I’m in catch up mode and don’t want to spend all my event currency on him when I’m still missing heaps of others. But that’s ok he’ll keep Overall I’ve still added over 30 new dragons to my dragonarium this event and getting down to the harder to breed ones now so I’m happy. My dark elder has been BUSY, ha. I just really want misfortune to turn up for me in the rift because that guy is an ancestor of a lot of dragons!! He’s well named though….
I discovered about 1,000 gems too late the post and trick about adding Dramo 1, 2, 3, or 4 to your Wish List and then using the WL as a filter. In the co-op cave, filter both your breed dragons and your friends’ dragons by your Wish List. It’s the bottom item in Filters and has a heart in it. This will be moot after Deca adds numbers to the Dramo levels. Wish Deca would do the same for Monolith and Snowflake dragons.
For example, if you have Dramo #4 and want a pedestal or twin to go with it, open your Dramo #4 dragon info card and add this dragon to your Wish List. Then go to the co-op cave, filter your dragons by your Wish List, and select your Dramo #4 dragon. Do the exact same thing with your friends’ dragons. If any of your friends have Dramo #4 blue hearted you will see only that dragon. Neat trick.

I’ve been trying to get scourge yeah… not liking my chances. I had to get an apocalypse in there first, and from that a misfortune, which is where I’m currently stuck. So haven’t been able to even start trying!

And the best bit of him... Once you have him, he'll keep on turning up again and again and selling for a princely 1DC 🤣

You've done really well adding 30 new dragons during this event. Seeing the floating head in a habitat is hilarious. 😀
If you are unable to breed Misfortune, if you have a twin, you'll be able to claim a twin Misfortune as the last gift in the Daily Reward Calendar.

Is there any reason to purchase more than one Digsite? Are dragons able to be evolved with gems after the event ends provide I have stage 1 of the dragon?

I have now bought two Draco dragons and fully evolved both and fed to level twenty. One is in the coop breeding and the other is sitting in one of the Apocolyose habitats waiting for his companion to return. However! My Dragonarium is still showing that I only own one Dracomancy and is not breathing fire. What more can I possibly do?

Dracomancy1 (the base version in the event market) and Dracomancy4 (the final evolved version) are two separate dragons in the Dragonarium. You currently have two Dracomancy4 dragons. If you buy Dracomancy1 for 1,000 EC in the event market and do not evolve it, you will have all the dragons. You do not need to level up Dracomancy1 with treats if you don’t want to.
For the two Dracomancy4 dragons, if you breed them together, you can obtain the Dracomancy4 pedestal. The pedestal is identical to the Dracomancy1 pedestal, but it does have a separate entry in the Dragonarium. So if you collect pedestals and want all of them, you’ll need to obtain the Dracomancy1 pedestal (available in the event market) and the Dracomancy4 pedestal (by breeding two Dracomancy4 dragons together).
I know it’s confusing when it’s written out, but Dracomancy’s breeding and cloning rules are similar to the evolve dragon rules. The major difference is that Dracomancy has three evolve stages instead of one, and the base dragon is the same dragon as the final form (both are called Dracomancy). These differences are what’s making Dracomancy so confusing.

been trying for a traited Scourge for years. I feel your pain. I will spend to 20k trying for it, every day, and likely won’t get it before this event ends. BRING BACK BRING ‘EM BACK!

The Ominous Digsite can be used as a decoration, and some players may want several different stages of the Digsite to display in their park. But outside of that, there isn’t a need to purchase more than one Digsite for the evolution of Dracomancy.
I’ve asked Deca if Dracomancy can be evolved after the event and how much it’ll cost. We haven’t received word yet, but usually, Deca discloses information about post-event content and prices near the end of the event.

After 13 years, the game is too big for BEB, with over 850 dragons. If all the limiteds were released at once, it could cause issues for some devices, and it would be very challenging for players to breed anything with so many dragons added to the breeding fails. Deca removed BEB several years ago and replaced it with Dragon’s Week.
Scourge, along with the other Four Horsemen dragons, is very difficult to breed if you already own one. If you have one, the breeding percentage is lowered to 1%. Many players sell their Four Horsemen dragons to breed the traited versions in the Rift, then purchase the regular version from the event market. If you don’t want to do that and have a twin Scourge, you can claim the traited-twin as the last daily reward. If you don’t have a twin, you can wish for the twin, then claim the traited-twin.
The Four Horsemen dragons and others with low breeding percentages are ideal to claim at the Runic Breeding Caves. Players can obtain the twin and traited-twin versions. Something to keep in mind when the RBCs roll around again.

I don’t mean to sound like a braggart, I just want to share my approach to this new dragon because I think it worked well.
Disclaimer: I’m an end game player with a lot of resources and a well developed rift.
I was fortunate to breed a dracomancy in the rift yesterday. Yesterday I cloned it in two tries with elder dargon (I fed it up first). Today I bred my to Dracomacy 1’s in the rift. I successfully cloned it 5 more times using the two Draco 1s. Only one was not traited. I then evolved my dig site and two of the rifted Draco 1s to 4s. I fed them up and had a couple more rift breed that I put the two Draco 4s in. I now have a cloned Draco 4 sitting in the rift to hatch tomorrow for double day. I started the day with two Draco 1s and I now have 5 Draco 1s and 2.5 Draco 4s. After doubles weekend, the pedestals will knock out quickly.

So does that mean I needn’t have bought the second dragon and NOT evolved it? Doing as you suggested has completed my Dragonarium and now it's once more breathing fire. I’m so grateful for your help in getting to a conclusion, but still don't quite understand the finer points. I'll now crawl back into my little hermitarium!😊

You didn’t need to evolve the second Dracomancy1. But since you did, it might be worth it to breed the two Dracomancy4 dragons together to get the pedestal. Dracomancy4 + Dracomancy4 is the only way to obtain the Dracomancy4 pedestal (although it looks just like the Dracomancy1 pedestal, it is a separate pedestal in the Dragonarium).

Goodness, you are doing well. I also bred a Dracomancy in the Rift yesterday, but despite my best efforts have not been able to clone another one. I was hoping to also breed some more that I could use to evolve to the various forms. Much quicker breeding in the Rift when it all goes to plan. 😉
I have purchased several Draco 1s. Evolved one to Draco 4 and trying to clone another one in co-op. Also trying with another couple to breed more of the little blighters that I can evolve to 2 and 3.
The koalas are going to be working overtime trying to get to everyone's parks with the number of Dracomancy's in the Rift that need to be bred. 🐨 🐨

Since I am a completionist, I've bought four draco 1s, in hopes of having one of each variant in a habitat.
My alt parks are working to twin the main park four Dracomancy 1s to do the same thing with them; if they had sufficient EC I'd evolve them to make aquuring each twin easier.
I've already cloned the pedestals of dracomancies 2 and 3; despite them being identical to other versions.
The largest challenge I face is gathering enough EC to fully evolve two dracomancies, as the main park currently lacks enough to evolve one dragon. If I absolutely have to, I'll use gems to evolve after the event, although this would be as a last resort.

I have some questions about this Dracomancy fellow: I just evolved one Dracomancy4 and my breeding cave is blocked with a 48hours dragon. I lost a lot of gems so I’ll stop trying this guy but… - can we hope it will be in the list for the last day as a gift in the cursed tree? I got one so if I ask for it, it will be a twined version? - or, after the event, if it appears in the wishing well, if I claim it, will it be a twin guy?
