The LAST CALL competition is a race to be the last person to breed the next limited dragon. The ‘Winner’ (the last person without said dragon) receives at least a gem from all the participants; a meager reward for the pain of being last.
How to Play
• Register for the contest by leaving your pledge in a post below. The pledge must include ‘last’ with a gem to be paid to the winner. Extra pledges are optional. • Provide your Friend ID if not already known. • Breed for the dragon continuously in at least one breeding cave in the main park for the duration of the contest or until you have bred the dragon. • Rift breeding is permitted, but you must also be using a breeding cave in your main park. • If you don’t have the required parents, it is acceptable to try to breed them and still remain in the contest. • Announce here as soon as you have bred the dragon and any relevant details (Twin, ninja, day of the week etc) • Post here when payment is made for your pledges. It is a good idea to pay pledges as the contest progresses.
Finer Points
• If your park is not a high enough level to breed for the dragon, you can withdraw from the contest. • A pedestal may be bought without being disqualified. But it must be declared here that you have bought a pedestal. • You cannot buy the dragon and remain in the contest. Your entry will be withdrawn, but you will still be expected to honor any pledges made. • You will need to friend the participants that you owe gems to for pledges made. • If something happens and you are unable to participate for the duration of the contest, please let us know and your entry will be withdrawn.
The Contest Ends
• When the dragon has left the market or • There is one participant left who has not bred the dragon (the ‘Winner’)
Any dragon bred by any participant, after the winner is found, does not incur any subsequent pledges. It is at the goodwill of the pledger if they pay additional pledges after the winner is found – eg Twins, Pixie, etc.

Pledges Standard —] one gem to the winner First & Last —] one gem to the winner and one gem to the first competitor to breed the dragon GT —] gem + treats Ninja —] 2 gems to a person who breeds a second whilst the first is still breeding Pixie (Day of the Week) —] 1 gem to whoever breeds the dragon on the chosen day Middle —] 1 gem to the middle person/s to breed the dragon Twins —] 1 gem to the person who breeds a twin. 1 gem to the person who receives a twin. Rulilind —] 1 gem to each person who breeds their first dragon during the last 24 hours it is available. Sympathy —] GT to each contestant that had to buy their first dragon during the last 12 hours it is available. Rift Unrifted —] 2 gems to any player who acquires their first dragon by breeding an untraited version in the Rift. Giddle —] Gem to the 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th and GT to the 4th competitor to breed the dragon. Gluttonous —] Gem to everyone who breeds a second dragon before you breed your first. Odds/Evens —] Based on whether there are an odd or even number of players registered for the contest.

Are we doing this for Dracomancy? It seems like it's very complicated
Agreed, worth a think and check in. I just had a go at breeding Dracomancy base in rift up to 20K etherium with no success. I also started breeding in three vale caves without success. To increase our time to clone/twin Dracomancy base and clone/twin/pedestal Dracomancy 4 it might be wiser to purchase base Dracomancy and get going as soon as possible rather than waiting to breed. I'll stay in the competition for now rather than withdraw but I will reflect and also see what others think.
I'm supposed to be resting today, so more playing time. I did breed a metal rifted Dracomancy level to 11. Then put it in the coop. 22 hours not correct timer. I bought the digsite, upgraded three times, 2000 DC each time. The digsite info card still has marking, like it is not complete. But no more upgrades available. Bug - After upgrading the digsite, the limited prize level shows no digsites purchased. I bought Dracomancy for 1000 EC. Evolved immediately, 1250 EC. Feed Draco 2 (first level evolved) to level 4, and wings appeared with the skull. After the second evolution, the glowing body and legs appeared. Evolved third time and a whole body.
I like using up excessive event currency. Instead of buying and selling pedestals. Now do I need one of each evolution? Yes you do. The dragonarium has each evolution separate. I only see two now. One not evolved , one fully evolved. I'm sure if I buy and evolve only to two and three, more will appear.

Yes, how are we going to pay gems? Maybe I should skip this one. I do have the 1st Dracomancy breeding in EBC. Even if I am sitting out I am still trying for the dragon. Still trying for the Misfortune in the rift, don't know how many events this has been for that one (maybe this will be the one)

From Adlerist's post, it seems 1 and 4 are separate in the Dragonarium but 2 and 3 do not.
Also, normally I'm all for using up excess EC but for Halloween I'm trying to stock up on Rift Habitats 😭

So basically it seems like the only way to get your first version of 2,3 and 4 is to evolve for event currency. And 1 is only 1k event currency with a really tricky combo so makes sense just to buy. I don’t have the parents in the rift to try for the base there. So yeah there’s basically nothing for me to breed here and will sit out if it goes ahead I think!
I think it is best if we don't do a Last Call for Dracomancy.
Rysaroni hasn't liked my post so I don't know if she is playing and there seems to be uncertainty of whether this should go ahead and several have withdrawn already.
Adlerist has posted excellent instructions on how to get Dracomancy 1, 2, 3 and 4.
I have locked the thread so that there is no confusion. Any further comments about Dracomancy can be made in the event thread.
