My GCID (royal w/cheese) is from Pulp Fiction and my last name which is Royal. "royale w/cheese) was already taken, so I dropped the "e", which worked with my last name anyways.
The line from Pulp Fiction: "What do they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in France? A "Royale with cheese".
My forum name is just one of the many morphs this nick name has taken amongst my friends. The all call me Cheeseburger or Cheesy, or just Cheese. Which is also kinda funny since I'm a Dairy Dept. manager at a grocery store. Lol!

My GCID (Steam-Dragon) was based on my hobby building miniature working steam locomotives, and I would love to see a steampunk dragon for the metal habitats.

It's what my dad used to call me when I was a little girl!
I love parents nicknames, they can come up with some great ones and to me it's such a term of endearment. I had a conversation with my boss and colleague years ago and neither of them had nicknames from their parents which I found so very sad.

Ohhhh! I so agree!! Steampunk would be very very cool!!
In high school my friends called me "Mikey". I don't remember how or why, but I got to spelling it phonetically "my" + "key". I grew up, as teenagers do, and dropped the diminutive sound to my nickname. But I really liked the "y" in the middle, so I kept it.
Back to high school for a moment: I remember the lesson on capitalization of proper nouns to make them stand out, to signify their importance, and remember thinking to myself "if I capitalize my nickname, I don't stand out at all, I conform... and I'm not any more important than anyone else".
Blablabla the result is I spell my nickname with a lower-case M and a Y in the middle: myke.
Most people call me myke these days, even in work correspondence. My wife is the only person who consistently calls me Michael.
Actually Tommy, it stands for Vin Diesel Lover and 4 just happens to be my fave number. I started using it in high school when i fell head over heels for Vin in the fast and the furious and it just stuck
what you mean you didn't like him in pitch black lol ,oooh those eyes lol I love that film and the sequel riddick really hoped that they would bring another out but not as yet x
Hey does anyone know when the sequel to the last air bender will come out we went to see it about 2 years ago I think ,and it was obviously only part of the movie ,but I have not heard anything about another part yet x

Does anyone still call you "little poopyface"? Maybe some colleagues? Try adding this nickname to your email footer and see if it catches on!

Only my parents, with affection, when I'm being poop-face-y.
That is so sweet! We called our girls spot and doodlebug.
I call all my daughters Princess. Even the 21 year old that just got married.
My son I call my little prince. Literally so. His middle name is Fitzroy which means "Son of the King".
Oh so you're the King huh?
