I've been thinking this for a while but I think it would be cool to have an off-topic thread where people explain their GCID's. I think the names we choose to be known by say a lot about a person and I think it would be fun to read people's stories.
I will. My GCID is mjtyler. It stands for Martina, my name, James, my partners name and Tyler his middle name. It seemed to make sense and it's nice to have a hybrid of our names, it's just stuck. It seemed to be a better fit than either of our last names. 😃
Ok my turn, my GCID is ViviPilou. First part, Vivi, is just the way my sister abreviates my name, Viviane. Second part, Pilou, (spoken Peeloo) was my nickname on the web for about 15 years when I worked for the Microsoft chats. It was also the name of my business (websites) and I still hold the domain pilou.com since 1996. Many people still only know me under that nick.
My baby sister called be Nessa and then it became Nessie and as a child I hated both, although not as much as I still hate being called Van. I can still here myself telling my sister my name is Vanessa. N35513 is Nessie in numbers.

I've been Just Jennifer on forums (mostly scrapbooking) pretty much since I started messageboards. But that name was taken. So since I have 3 girls, I just added the 3 and shortened it.
My name is dragonville10 as my son started it ( it's his iPad remember ) and he was called some random numbers and letters ,and I said I'm not putting that on a forum to get you friends ,so I changed it dragonvale was taken so I put dragonville10 the 10 part is because Brendan got the pad for his tenth birthday x x x

tommy I have to ask why is your cat looking so mad on that pic ,I get very worried when my cat looks at me like that ,as it usually means he's about to pounce and bite someone haha ,he's more like a tiger our cat x x x
My forum name came about because I was trying to set up my game center ID when i first received my ipad (i really didn't know what i was doing 😃😃😃😃) and everything I tried was already taken. At the time I was playing yatzee and one of the computer generated names was Ivanabot, so for fun I tried it and it worked, and the rest is history.

My granddaughter, who goes by "Agrak10" here, introduced me to DragonVale in late April, when I was visiting her and my daughter in Kodiak, Alaska. At the g-kid's insistence, I set up my own game on my iPad. I never imagined I would be playing the game, without Abbey, after I returned home...silly, silly me.
I thought I was picking a nick for a very short time, just a few weeks, and just to play with Abbey, so went with the "Granny" bit. I wanted Granny Deb, but couldn't get it, so added the "s" and am now living with it.

This is a very interesting thread. Very good idea.
My GCID is Meeridrache which contains the two german words Drache (dragon) and a shortened form of Meerschweinchen (guinea pig) from which we have four in our family. Meeri could also be considered as a hint to sea because I live nearby the Baltic Sea.
My forum name is composed by the name of one of my favourite dragons in DV and my birthday.

Mine is a combination of my two favorite animals: Octopus and Chicken. Technically I love cats, dogs, and all kinds of animals, but those are my two for which I collect memorabilia etc.

You forgot that the L is for lover. So it's Vin Diesel Lover - I forget what the 04 was for too! But, like Shelly, I also remember that conversation!
I've been collecting comics since I was about 12. My favourites were Conan the Barbarian & Vampirella - both had amazing artwork! If anyone remembers the drawing i posted in the getting to know you thread, that was of Conan (fighting a dragon of course). I'll post one of my Vampirella drawings one day. The comics have both been discontinued in their original form so the collection stopped quite a few years ago, but my (practically) complete collections are bagged and kept in custom made felt lined boxes - Vampirella & Conan will be my retirement fund!!! Anyway, hence the vampi part of my ID, the 64 is the year I was born - blehhh, getting old!!!
