Well originally on forums and chats and such my name was Evil_Lord (give me a break I was 13!!!). So eventually I decided on a name that didn't make me sound like a 12 year old, which was Coronis, can't remember how that came about.. Anyway, I use IRC a lot, in conjunction with Smogon, and a friend there gives everyone nicknames based on their usernames, and mine was Coonis. As it was all about pokemon, and Cascoon is a pokemon, Cascoonis was a natural evolution to that. Both Coronis and Coonis were taken as GCID's, and this was my 3rd choice.

Had always wondered how that came about, thanks for posting.
The arsenicCatnip part comes from my favorite webcomic, Homestuck. There's a character, Nepeta, whose chat username is arsenicCatnip. She's basically me in fictional character, alien form.
The 33 part is the atomic number for arsenic. just arsenicCatnip was taken, so i stuck a number on the end and I figured it should be significant.

Thanks for sharing. I think 33 is appropriate but would not have known it was the atomic number. Wise choice.

I like the #33 too. Idk why but whatever. Cool GCID!
LemmyLoop is my universal username. If you're on some other website and you find another LemmyLoop it is probably me.
That being said, LemmyLoop is really short for Lemniscate Loop. I knew I would get tired of typing in Lemniscate so I shortened it to Lemmy. For those of you who don't know, a lemniscate is what you call the shape of the infinity symbol! I have a thing for infinity and time, so you can imagine how excited I was about Kairos. His perch is covered in lemniscates, and he spits infinity symbols.
The loop is a reference to various things, but when I first brought the name into existence it was for my craft blog. The blog heavily features my knittingcrochet projects, so I thought loop would be fitting. They are both basically a series of intricate loops.
So... I guess my GCID kind of means... knitting forever.

Very educational. I've always been partial to the infinity symbol, don't really know why, it just appeals. Thanks for explaining. Yours' was always one I wondered about.
Mine isn't very interesting either my forum name tonygtech is just my nickname tony from Anthony and the G is the first letter of my last name. And the tech part is because I'm a veterinary technician. My GCID troutfisher10 is because fishing for trout is my favorite type of fishing and the 10 was the year I started using that name plus I needed a number because troutfisher had been taken already. So there you have it!
Has Lungbutter posted here yet? I tried to see it, but maybe I missed. If not, I would love the story of that strange name! Every time I see that name, I am dazzled.

LOL, first time I ever checked out this thread.
Correct (kind of) on the coughing up part, but I refer to is as to what you hack up while exercising. I'm a triathlete and the 140.6 is the distance of the ironman triathlon. So at mile 20 of the marathon and you start hacking up gnarly stuff, you've got yourself some Lungbutter.

Hahaha since I've had pneumonia it gave me a whole new meaning to your name. Come to find out I was almost right. GROSS!!!

Ewwww, nasty.....just nasty! My daughter is a runner and has introduced me to what she does while running and has a stuffy nose. I did raise her better, I swear I did!
