I HATE (but really want) THE PERIDOT DRAGON COMP

Ok so the threat of crying worked (might have to try that one with my kids when they don't do as I've asked!). I finally have a 1day 48min incubation in my breeding cave - whoopdedoo!!! Tis weird how I get most of my rares in the cave.
koala to those still trying. If this has taught me anything it's not to bother using gems, as of this morning I refused to use anymore to speed things up and 3 tries later I'm lucky.

I am keeping fingers crossed I can breed the dragons I need to start trying for this. Along with saving up coin to get their island...we'll see how it goes. I definitely want to have it done by Sept 1 cause I'm bound and determined that I will get the gem dragon of my birthday month.

Quakes seem to love me too. I have 2 in the nests and one breeding. I also have a Cactus and Moss on the nests and another Tree breeding as well.

I think the Peridot is an elaborate hoax and everyone who's gotten one is in league with evil BFS! ;D

Good morning all. I figured I'd start my morning with another crystal but...WAHOOOO jumping up and down for joy and shouting from rooftops. "I GOT MY PERIDOT". Finally put out of my misery. *doing the happy dance*.

I saw this the other day when I was out party hatting. It took me awhile to figure out how to get it attached.

I think Nessie got really frustrated and threw a wizard off one of her islands and I just want to say that violence is NOT the answer. Hang in there, what will be will be.

Looks like the gem i've been gifting you, will go to lostgirl until the procreation gods smile on her breeding efforts next.

I check the list daily before sending the gems, trying to make sure I provide my extras to those still in the hunt for peridot (granted I sent myke another one today to see if he could reclaim the luck that was taken from him by his spawn - my 3 & 1 year olds love the iPad as well, so I can definitely empathize)

If you're reading this, are still in the running in the competition for trying to breed a peridot, and haven't accepted my friend request:
Get with the program  I will continue to send (my excess) gems to those still trying to breed their first one (based primarily on the list at the start of this thread). Please don't feel the need to send me a gem back right now, just trying to help the others get their first peridot as well. If you feel you need to reciprocate, try passing them along to the list of those who haven't gotten the peridot yet as well.

In 31 hrs I will have Peridot. I think I would still be trying if I haven't upgraded my EBC. First time I tried after the upgrade and I saw a little over 24 hrs for breeding and I knew it would be Peridot, now I just have to wait for it to be ready to hatch. Last month I didn't get ruby until the 20th, so I beat last month's record.

I'll be sure to keep grumpy butt away from my iPad when lostgirl comes to visit. He's 2. I understand your pain cuz he spent a bunch of gems buying a dragon out. Lol and it wasn't a good dragon. But he didn't display a rare one. You do win the prize for that.
