This is a FINAL CALL for the I HATE PERIDOT COMPETITION.
Participation will be locked starting Tuesday, July 31. Therefore, Monday, July 30, is your last chance to sign up. Some of you didn't provide GCIDs or didn't sign up to join the forum... if you don't get this done before Tuesday, you'll have to wait until September to partake in this tremendous competition.
I'm on Eastern Standard Time (New York, Toronto). I'll post in here again on Tuesday as soon as I have my coffee and have my computer booted up. As long as I haven't posted here to lock participation, you can still sign up.
I encourage participants to add each other to their friends' lists (that's why I included everyone's GCID in the OP) so that we can all check in on each other. While you are on the OP, please remind yourself of the rules.
Consider signing up for the PERIDOT SPEED BREEDING COMP, which is sure to be about as much as this competition, though it won't go on as long.

I've gone ahead an added those I think weren't already friends, some may have received another request from me as I couldn't remember all of my list, and some may have been missed as I thought they already were friends. If I'm missing anyone when it comes time to gift gems, I'll just add them then.

I just came to post the same thing! It seems like I remember somewhere that lostgirl5150 posted something about her GCID but I can't remember where or if I imagined it!
edit: lostgirl's gcid has no space between the lost and girl: -=lostgirl=-

No space for -=lostgirl=- and spelling mistake on hartz (should be nickelchik). And charla was clearly trying to cheat already. We've got our eye on you, young lady.

I added the both of them so any stragglers I may have missed I'll just add if necessary later, or they can add me if they know we aren't already friends.
May I join too please? I only started playing this month but I got my gem island/breeding island/breeding cave. I also managed a gold & a ruby this week, my first 2 rares, although I still have many more basic ones to breed!

Hi Pam, I'd love for you to participate, but your participation is conditional. Since you might not have the necessary dragons to breed the Peridot, you would be at an advantage over the other participants. Thankfully, breeding the gem dragons has required pretty common dragons so far, so hopefully this isn't an issue.
I'll put you on the list for now, and I'll get in touch with you in August to see what your situation is. I'm 90% sure it won't be an issue, though.
In the meantime, grats on Gold and Ruby: keep it up!
I'd love to be in but will probably be wifi & hence dragonvale less for a week on hol so unable to breed - gasp the torture of it! - I'll still gift a gem to the winner/loser & take part if I can find a wifi spot.........
