Hey Myke what is op? I am assuming its a list of all the folks in the competition but want to make sure. You know what assumptions can do? Will this list be made available to those of us in the competition.

Yep, Lion is right: OP = original post.

If you haven't already done so, I encourage you and everyone to go through the list of participants in the OP and add them as friends in Game Centre so that you can visit them and keep an eye on their progress, lack of progress, and otherwise find fuel to trash talk the folks you are competing against.

Please include the word "Peridot" or "DragonValeCommunity.com" in your friend invitation so that ppl don't think they are getting invites from 42 strangers.

I believe I "won" because I was the most unluckiestest. It's pretty hard to dope (or anti-dope) on an iPad.

I also happen to think this competition is full of win! I mean, ppl make whining posts in hopes of getting lucky with their next breeding pair. What is this competition if nothing more than an enormous group-whine?

This competition will reduce every participant's time to breed a Peridot by at least 1 day and save each participant at least 5 gems in fails.

Participation for the August gem dragon is locked. Thanks to everyone for the tremendous sign up.

Apologies to mary542alice and kdabull17 - you'll have to wait for the September competition.

45 gems are up for grabs: 44 to the last participant to breed Peridot, 1 gem to the runner up.

If you haven't already, please add the participants to your friends' lists.

Please continue to post your success and failure in this thread, to keep everyone appraised.

Please check in on your participating friends often, and post taunts here.

How can you taunt, you ask? How about "Hey .TommyB. you sure have a lot of Forge eggs in your nursery." or "Hey Jack, don't your dragons know how to do it?" or "Nice Forge, Fletch" and so on.
