I'm in. GCID - BeckiC67. Finally got my 1st peridot today which was actually bred by my mom (ShanRese) as she has been caring for my dragons since she left me high and dry here in AZ last Fri after getting me hooked. My ipad arrived today so the withdrawal symptoms are subsiding now that I have had my fix. Hope I get September's dragon quicker than this one.
My guess for the combo is Iron + Ice. I understand people liking the blue in Rain, but I still believe they won't use an uncommon dragon in the combo ... until they do, of course, then I have nothing to hold on to.
That match would make Sapphire difficult to achieve. Yes? So many possibilities. Yikes.

The I HATE THE SAPPHIRE DRAGON COMPETITION is a race to be the last person to breed the gemstone dragon for the month of September. The loser (the last person in the race to breed the gemstone dragon) receives a gem from all the participants; a meagre reward for the pain of being last.
Rules: - All participants agree to ante up a gem into the competition pot. Participants send a gem to the winner when the winner is announced. The winner sends a gem to the runner-up. - In the event of a tie (complete failure by multiple participants to breed the gemstone dragon before the end of the month [gasp]), the pot is split with off-rounded gems going to the next I HATE THE XYZ DRAGON COMP. - Participation is reserved for members of this DragonVale Community who have the gemstone island. - All participants promise to constantly use at least one breeding site for the competition. If a participant has only one breeding site, it must be used constantly for the competition. If you don't already have the Sapphire Dragon parents when the combination is announced, it is acceptable to use your breeding site to breed them. - Have fun - Be honest
Mechanics: - Announce your participation by replying to this thread. Please include your GCID. - Reply to this thread when you have successfully bred the Sapphire dragon. - This competition is self-policed; by including your GCID with your registration, participants can visit each other's parks. - If a new shiny limited dragon comes out and you want to focus on breeding it, you can withdraw from this competition. Note, though, that you are still on the hook to send a gem to the winner.
