I've noticed there is now a Gizmonauts section in the Breeding Sandbox. In case anybody wants to take a look. It's beta of course...but hey, we all have to start somewhere

Their media presence is...confusing...to me. Was the total lack of responses or any kind of resources on Backflip's website the same way when Dragonvale premiered?
Hello and welcome majorsnarls, and thanks for advertising our great forum! In fact, when DV started i had no idea there was a BFS webpage, any kind of forum and as I do not FB had in fact no info whatsoever. I think that all those who started in early days ie sept or oct 2011 were in the same situation. And yes, i went to see the BFS site re gizmo, nothing ! And no FB page to my knowledge, strange indeed.

Just saw your post on the FB page, thank for the plug. Did you mean BFS support sent you to us?
The media presence has improved in the past few months since they started adding new dragons to their FB page. As you can see by Viv's post, not everyone has, or wants access to FB. The Wiki is an excellent resource for DV, and the Gizmonaut section is growing nicely.
Seems as though BFS expects their customers to have a certain amount of media savvy to really be successful with their games. I don't have a lot of game apps so I don't know if that is typical between developers.
Anyway, we are glad to have here with us. We are all learning together.

I am using a Lvl 10 builder and Lvl 10 performer.
Could I ask to all of you who have obtained one so far, just for arguments sake, could you list exactly what bot type you used and what level they we're. I realize level does not matter, but I,m supersticious. Hehe.

Hey Zanatar I have 3 frankenbots I've saved and several I have sold. Sorry cant remember the parents but got them as fails so I think the first was builder/performer lower level probably 5 or 6. Then with trying to get the trainer/astro bot or safety/astro bot Seems I get caterpillar or Franken mostly as fails cuz they are the longest. Lol still haven't got a trainer bot. Sorry I can't be of more help, I'd give you some if I could.

Builder and performer in any format will work. It is just a matter of time if you keep up the iterations. For your superstitions, mine were obtained with level 5, 6,7,8,9,10. I have had a plague of franensteins creatures. Have you considered voodoo as a method of acquisition? Koala!

I got my first couple from builder and performer, and another couple from flower and safety. I can't remember the levels but they were probable 7 through to 9
