Hope you get a low breeding time if it isn't the Sapphire. Keep trying until it leaves the market. Fingers crossed you will get a few more tries

Well, there's a chance you'll be able to try again in the morning.
They usually don't remove the previous months Birthstone dragon until afternoon on the 1st.
Not a written in stone rule or anything, but more often than not that seems to be the case.
With the light/dark event going on as well as a possible new zombie dragon next week, do you think BFS will still release a lunar eclipse dragon in the next week?

zombie is out. what are recommended breeding pairs? saw meteor and pollen in another site but dont have meteor. and still tryng for ghost--20 fails so far with two sets...

I'm hoping the early release of the Zombie Dragon means they will release the Lunar Eclipse later this week.
Pollen+Meteor is confirmed for Zombie. Sorry you're having trouble with ghost. I have had multiple ghost success while trying for Amber (which is still eluding me). Amber is Quake+Evergreen

Is there a way to tell if newly-released dragons will be limited or not?
I've only played since late August, so I haven't seen many released. When Cotton came through, it said it was for the two year anniversary, so I suspected it might be limited. Zombie seems likely to be tied to Halloween but I don't know if there's a way to predict. Thanks for any help on this one!
(I've been breeding Lava & Mud constantly in at least one breeding location since Oct 1, and no Opal yet, so I'm trying to decide if/when I try to get a Zombie. I have gotten several Bones as fails. I did get one Ghost after several tries; not sure if I'll try to get a second one.)

Yes, you can tell if a dragon is limited by opening the Dragons tab in your market. You will notice certain dragons have different frames around them. Look at the Zombie frame, it has little red hour glasses in the corners, that indicates the clock is running. Also, tapping the little egg in the lower right corner of the frame gives you a view of what the egg looks like on the pedestal.
