A dragon known for its beauty, it's... the Silken Dragon!
Etymology: Quite obvious 😆 Elements: Dream or Lightning/Plant/Fire Quest: Can You Belle-eive it? Combo: Satin + Dream element or anything else involving Satin Description: "Silken dragons are known for their smooth, soft scales, and they share a slight similarity to satin dragons. Legend has it that one of these dragons once got lost in the dream realm of Morpheon and was kept captive by a dragon of bestial proportions, but that's just a story, right? Right??" Design notes: This dragon is a not-so-subtle homage to Belle's dress in Beauty and the Beast (plus a slight nod to the rose). I tried to retain its dragon-like qualities and not make it a direct carbon copy of the movie to keep it true to the game's distinct style.
I'm excited to present this dragon to you all. Best of luck to the other amazing designs!

I admit, I’m not familiar with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, so I had to google Belle’s dress. The Silken dragon looks so much like the dress! You really captured the essence and grace. And I love the peacock crest atop Silken’s head. At least, that’s what it looks like to me (and why I gave your post a peacock reaction on Discord 🦚).
Bonus points for using the Beauty and the Beast background for the background of your contest entry. Nice attention to detail! 🔍

This contest theme was tricky, added themes of stained glass and the descriptions of the different creatures the beast was described as throughout the years.

I adore the stained glass wings of Malison and how the thorny stems of the rose have grown around his legs! He is really at one with the rose. Similar to MinyaZ, I also like how baby Malison is holding his tail. But you know, he could be holding a sandwich (like Glob!).
BTW, I now call all sandwiches, 'globwiches'. I hope everyone will join in and help to change the vernacular, so 'globwich' will be added to the dictionary. 🐌🥪

I love it! My favourite parts are the beginning, the first movement, if you will, and the third or fourth movement at 5.00, then how it all comes together at 7.11!

You had mentioned this project, OboeKade, but I didn’t realise it’d be so, so, so detailed! It’s extremely well-imagined and inventive. I love the Phylogenetic Tree, and the image of Geanta under the Fauna Portal! You’ve done a remarkable amount of research to put this together, along with a ton of creativity.
