My mom knows you are not in the bicentennial competition. However, in your main park you are in the ragnarok Last Call comp. In that park, you still have no bicentennial, so she wants us to help you get it since it is a limited.
True, I am working on Bicentennial again in main park after getting Ragnarok (for last call comp) and Turquoise.
Yes, I do know that neither you nor Davellan were in the Bicentennial Competition, but you were in the Ragnarok competition until recently, and Davellan still is. I want the three of you get Bicentennial, so I thought some gems and encouragement might help.

This is a very cool idea and I feel quite honored to receive a gem shower. However, as I posted over on the main thread, I'm saving my gems for the island theme bundle and have been resisting the urge to speed my breedings. I hope this isn't counter to the spirit of the gem shower. I am trying for Bicentennial in both breeding sites though and hope that's enough to get one before BeB (wherein I want to concentrate on Berry, my other big miss).

Skitch and Greger: Along with tonight's gems, I sent each of you two plates of zazzberry tarts and two buckets of dragonade, but they are for your dragons not for you. Since dragons love them as much as we do, I thought they might help you get your bicentennial. Depending on your dragons, you could use them in one of two ways. First, you could use them as incentive: you get the treats when I get my bicentennial. Second, you could give them to your dragons now so that they would be in a better mood and decide to cooperate and give you the bicentennial you want. I hope they help. The tarts are some of the best I have ever made. (I left the rest of the batch over in the kitchen of the billionaire's club. First come first serve.)

I guess you didn't realize just HOW good my tarts are. Even the people at BFS wanted to pay tribute to my amazing tart-making ability. Just wait until you taste the new iceberry tarts. They sent me some in advance so that I could try my hand at turning them into scrumptious desserts. I am very excited about the results, as is BFS hence the loading screen image. Of course, I couldn't mention anything until after they announced the event. I predict that my iceberry tarts will quickly become as popular, if not more, than the zazzberry tarts.

After much reflection and many hours of careful soul-searching, I have come to a conclusion. I like gem showers. I like them very much.
Haha, I like them too. It's very encouraging to know that the community has got your back until you get the dragon, or it disappears. For me the latter might just happen...
5 months since the last one? I guess there has been a dirth of limited dragons for people to chase. Well new ones, anyway.
Just to keep our hand in, I want to nominate Cyn for an impromptu Gem Shower for coming up with the Galaxy Shower idea. Everyone who feels inclined, and has her as a friend, send her a gem to say thanks.
