Wait. Can I just ask something. Surely this is Proboards? Or am I being really stupid?
No, not stupid at all. dragonvale-tips.proboards.com is proboards, I believe they were talking about www.dragonvalecommunity.com which is not the same.
iOS GCID EuroKnuter Friends ALWAYS welcome, but I'm full for GT buddies =) Rockin' an ElektronX Jet Icon!
I suggest that a different thread is created for breeding friends, which is separate to the information about dragon vale 3. I know I posted this on the dv3 page, but I think it, rather ironically, might have gotten lost.
Already, in just Four days, we have 23 pages of posts, and I think it's a mixture of people finding out about this new feature, who can't be bothered to sift through so many pages to find out info. Between people wanting to find out about the new feature, people wanting to comment on the new feature and people trying to get breeding friends and share their successes etc we have too much information. This has led to OVERPOSTING! Why? Because people who want to find out about the event can't as (as I said above) there is so much other stuff to sift through, so they just ask again, adding to the confusion and the chaos which causes a giant chain reaction, and because people who want to find breeding partners can't be bothered to look for people who are still free ( there is a board at the beginning saying who has what dragon, but that can't be kept up due to the quick nature of breeding etc.) and so they add more confusion by posting about their dragons. It would definitely be helpful if there is a separate thread for finding breeding partners, (similar to the gem friend threads) which will make it a lot easier for people who have come onto the forum to find friends to navigate to what they want to see!
Thanks,
Koala

Hey jamesvaler, we did note your previous request for a separate thread, and Pixie has answered that request here:
There have been several requests for the creation of new threads. Our forum is a bit different from most that you may be acquainted with. It was created with the vision of having as few threads as possible and we try to keep to that as best we can. It can be messy and seem unorganized, but it has been this way from the beginning. You kind of get used to it after awhile.
Hope that clarifies things!
GCID: rionhow Thanks to ElektronX for my Light Rift avatar!

Thanks, missed that!
I understand, and I understand about the need for few threads, so I will support you in your decision.

It helps to keep referring people to the original post for those looking for partners, or encourage them to become members and list their current available dragon in their profile. We do know the new features have created lots of posts, we consider that a good thing. Overposting by one particular person posting the same information repeatedly would be dealt with in another way.
I get two emails every time the wizards release something. Where can I post to get that straightened out? Thanks!
Is it possible you have two forum accounts? Do both use the same email address? Or does one automatically forward to the other?
Also, go to your profile, edit profile, notifications and change your email settings so that you choose which emails you want or don't get... That could be the source of the problem.
