^^^^ mole/ solar DESTROY grinder / rock!!! They were higher levels..... But the mole solar seems a powerful combo. The moles damage was higher then grinder by a fraction....

Aloe is a good back up. He has a lot of Hit Points because of the Nature Element so if your lead bot is taken out he can take hits from Laser and deliver damage to win the fight.
Just a note that I was using Grinder lvl 15 with red Disc and using any backup for certain victory before the update.
Now, I find that for me, only Grinder/red disc and Repair bot level 10+ worked. Now that my Repair is level 15 and at 110%, I will be experimenting with other pairs. I'll be sure to update.

The match:
Opening round the grinder throws 68 damage while the mole deals 63. Note the mole has more life though.
I posted earlier that lvl 15 Astros can be defeated. That happened with a lvl 15 astro with ion drive but since sticking to using plasma engine as the gizmo, the lvl 15 astro defeated all opponents so far including a lvl 15 caterpillar with stinger and a lvl 15 laser with cannon. So maybe the plasma engine is a better gizmo than the ion drive for battles? Have also tried the pulsar engine a couple of times but I reckon the wins were not as convincing but could be wrong on this.
I find Mole with Cheese Grater + Carrier with Rocket Launcher can consistently defeat opponents of armed Caterpillar+Laser at max levels. I'll be using this pair to boost Carrier for max Robux yields in Mining zones. Attached is a picture of the match that ended when Laser took a last shot on the butt.

I know the grinder was too powerful, but I am back at being defeated more than I win. Just had 15 mole+carrier with battle gizmos crushed by 15 caterpillar+science with battle gizmos.
Before I spend a bunch of gems to test it out, does anyone else have a high level Spray Bot with Poison you could try as a lead bot against the Caterpillar/Laser team?
I have a level 10 with poison that I could level up. What do you want as a back-up?
I've tried Spray with Poison + Carrier with Rocket (both lvl 15) against armed Caterpillar+Laser and lost - I thought Spray with poison could do well against Caterpillar but Spray didn't last long. However, as posted previously I find Mole with Cheese Grater + Carrier with Rocket can consistently beat Caterpillar + Laser team.
