I'm not complaining though, it isn't exactly an opponent that wipes me in a shot or 2...
That caterpillar is showcased quite a bit. You might be right about it being a dev favorite.
What are you using for your lead bot?
Mine has been bouncer with the brass knuckles. I just picked up the chicken for the mole from a arena win. Was wondering will the more expensive gizmo have at least the same power as the cheese grater?

How are you doing in comps with the Mine?
I believe the most effective gizmo in the arena for each bot has a message about it's speed, charge, range, melee, etc. One gizmo will increase its' earning power while housed in the zone. All the others are decorations.

If you mean the mole. I haven't tried it. Not sure I am brave enough to enter the arena with a "half cooked chicken" as my main assault weapon..... That's why I was wondering if anyone else was crazy enough to try....
I don't know if this has been said yet, but at level 11, there's a forever pair consisting of caterpillar bot (lead), carrier bot (support). Their levels vary from 7-9. For some reason, the caterpillar's name seems to be usually nemo.
I'm at lvl 15 & he's still showing up. Must be a glutton for punishment bc my grinder w red disc eliminates him every time in no more than 3 hits.
Oops, should have read Pixie's reply first before I replied!

Oops, no sorry. Meant the Bouncer with brass knuckles.

The brass knuckle bouncer is a stud. The knuckles give u a total of 5 stars 2heal 3 melee. I have never matched him against the grinder with red wheel.

by the way I would love a shot at grinder red wheels "title".

Great! This is the kind of info we need for this thread.
Would the title be telecast on tv as a Pay-Per-View?

I am willing to pay gems to find out. It would need to be a No holds barred gizmo cage fight!!
In order to actually compare the two fairly we would need to set some very strict rules:
1) each bot would need to be at the same level. If you have red disc and bouncer brass knuckles shows up at a Lower level, it won't work. Conversely if he shows up At a Higher level you can feed up. 2) the backup up bot has to be the exact make and model. This means the same level and gizmo. The point is to remove outside influences to the outcome of our main event bots squaring off. 3) proof is critical so take a screen shot just before u pay showing the for bots. Then take one after or just before u lose or win
If you think about it won't be that easy to achieve. Anyone who is interested in the answer might want to throw in a gem to he who can prove the better bot! That way it would be worth it to buy the gizmo that the second bot has if you don't have it. Of course this fight is purely in the interest of science.

What think you all??
I think Bouncer with brass knuckles won't stand a chance against Grinder with red disc. I've just tried Bouncer with brass knuckles against the same opponents Catepillar+Carrier that Grinder with red disc+same back up can defeat easily within 4-5 strikes, and Bouncer lost.

Bouncer had the same backup with gizmo and same level?

Yes. The only difference is Bouncer lvl11 with brass knuckles instead of Grinder lvl11 with red disc.
Yeah, isn't that odd how we got such an assortment of opponents, then it changed to basically the same pair? I'm @ level 17 and the system stays this way. Nemo was in my arena, too. That guy really gets around. He should look very tattered though, because my Grinder beat him severely.

Very well could be that red disc trashes brass knuckles, but disc is a miner as well a caterpillar. Ancestry could make difference. That's Y I would like to see a controlled battle between them....

Every time you win a battle you face a default set of opponents next time, depending on your level. If you keep winning, you keep facing the same opponents. We should make up a table to show what they are for each level.
