Yeah, basically. What's your favorite Plantish dragon? Separate poll for the Earthish ones, separate poll for Firey, Rareish, etc. winner of each poll goes into the Sudden Death Poll in an all-out, winner-takes-all, down-and-dirty, king-of-the-world slugfest, well, you get the idea. Maybe do two elements/week, which would be two separate threads, and would give us a few weeks' worth of forum fun.

And just leaving the Rares out all together?
Well, Plant Dragon is a dragon, and it,s also a dragon element, making, say, the Flower Dragon a plant dragon. You follow? You could therefore do it two ways: include in the Plantish Dragon poll every dragon which has Plant as one of its elements, or include only those which have the plant as their first element. To find out which dragons BFS considers to be mainly part of which element (id est whether they see Flower as a plantish dragon which includes some fire, or a firey dragon that has some plant), see which base they put the dragon's egg on for display.
My recommendation regarding rares (and, to define rares, I mean king dragons, not, say, Sandstorm) and limiteds is to have a separate poll including the rares (what's that, Rainbow, Sun, Moon, (LYD?)), and another including only limiteds (Bone, Reindeer, Love, Clover, Bloom, LYD, Sakura, Butterfly). Would either omit Emerald (not enough Gemish dragons to rate a poll), or put her in Limiteds for this round.

I think the problem with having limited in their own category, is that the winner of the first week will win the pool. No way a Firefly Dragon will beat any limited, so what ever wins the limited beats all the ordinary elements.
But if Pan is in Water, Love is in Lightning, Bloom is in Plant, Butterfly is in Air then we have a much more interesting Final, imo.
