I'm just back from the cottage for some (chilly) RnR with the kids and wife and my parents.
Still no Topaz for me yet. At least, for me, the fails have been good to the shrine grind. I'll have my 5th gold statue soon.
Figuratively only please. For the record, I started taunting myself about an hour ago...then low and behold, what should pop up in my cave - but a 24 hour wait time (it does still send a shiver up my spine for the good ol' crystal fail days, pre upgrade of course)

I've been 4 days in mountain with my girlfriend and there love hit again! As happened with the sapphire. So now I have a topaz in my mountain and I bred that bad boy with IRON + OBSIDIAN (even if the homepage says cactus + firefly as best couple) so, here I am!

Wait, hold it right here! Are you absolutely sure you bred a Topaz dragon with Iron + Obsidian?

Myke, you missed that I upped my ante to 3+2 per my pledge when USCtrojan offered 3+2. Minor issue, but trying to help keep it straight.
Anyone want to take me up on my side bet from earlier? I'm putting money on myke VS eternity. Do I need to give 2:1 odds to get a little action or what?
Amazing how the loser list is shrinking! Well done everyone! My daughter (Hermione2424) is still not having much luck. She is finding it pretty hard to walk away from the 23 minute fails without using a gem to speed up!

I got my second Topaz yesterday so I'm all done for the month. Back to the shrine grind and eagerly looking forward to the eclipse dragon. Maybe we'll get a new dragon this Thursday as well.
LC, I will take you up on your bet, since I stole my first Topaz from your cave. I say eternity beats Myke in the hunt for the topaz.

I just happened to check out the losers list and didn't see anything after my name, but come to think of it, I'm not sure I saw anything after anyone's names on that list. So...forgive me if you have already counted my revised prize donation.
