Well, looks like I have started to figure this game out after all. after sorting out a method to reduce the bootings while visit friends down to just 3 or 4 events, I read enough things here and shifted to the safety and welder breeding combo...
Low and behold I'm a loser once again. After about 8 attempts, I'm happy to say I have a nice 48 hour wait. So I'm out!
Looks like debstoy (aka - the Tommy of gizmo, better known as Gizmo-Tommy or GT for short) will have to carry on the ineffective torch without me
For the record, those short fails are awesome. Question - how long does the astro environment take to build?

Congrats liquid!!! I am getting started on the welder safety mix now I hope I get it in only 8 attempts... Not that I am in the comp. Lets hope the loads of Frankenstein come in useful later

I just bought an Astro Station. I don't have the Astro Bot yet, but maybe buying this on blind faith that I'll get one soon will spur things along. I'm trying so hard to lose this contest!!!

Hey Dan,
Without a doubt the fastest way to Level up is to grow food and feed your bots. Doing as many goals as you can that give XP helps as well and winning battles in the Arena.
You need to friend people from the Game Center on your iDevice. Then you can visit their Outposts from the Friends Tab at the bottom left of the screen in the game.

Hey Fletch, My daughter just started playing using droid. Yes I guess they now have an app. She can send me gems because we are Facebook friends however I am not getting her when I login to Facebook so I can,t give any back. She won't have Game Center so is there a way for me to connect that I am not aware of??
Can't answer your question Techno but also, I think she will lose her game if she doesn't use GC and wipes it or updates & loses it, so tell her beware!

Congrats on the Astro! That is great.
Techno's daughter won't be able to connect to Game Center, it's not possible on the Android system. Seems lots of people are having the same issue Techno is saying. People need to be reporting this glitch to BFS so they can no how big a problem they have.

Lucky girl!!! Contrats. Ok I'll keep trying. I've given up using combos to net me other bots I need as fails cuz I end up with caterpillars and moles. So I'm concentrating on the astro then I can move on to my other bots.
Hang in their debstoy I just got a 48hours with a level 12 welder and 12 safety so it is possible!!!! Will add a pic when I figure out how
