Fletch was the first to breed the new Astro bot and won the first ever Gizmonauts contest sparking the idea for the need of a I Hate type contest for the Astro bot.
Since the Astro is not a limited bot, we will have to set this contest up just a bit different.
Astro becomes available at level 9, so you must be at level 9 before entry into the contest. GCID must be visible in entry post.
All participants agree to ante up a crystal into the competition pot. Participants send out their crystals when a winner is announced.
Rule revision:) Sign up will close November 2nd; the competition will run until the last bot standing wins.
Rule revision:) Signing up for the competition means you are committing your Breeding Lab to attempts for the Astro for the duration of the competition. That means if you drop out for any reason, i.e. breeding for a new limited bot, you will still owe a crystal to the winner of the comp.
Rule addition:) If a participants' new level allows for a new element, they will be allowed one breeding to obtain a new element hybrid.

Oh when I said the 7th I meant that as the end of the sign up period. That is crazy long though, so I can see how you were confused. Let's make sign up till the end of Nov 2nd. And then the contest can run as long as it needs to, as it won't end at the end of the month like a Gemstone comp would.
What game is is for? Probably not fair for me to enter since I haven't even downloaded it yet...but doesn't mean I can't they to get with the program

I'm using Carrier + Harvester. Not sure it is the "best", but it gives me 4 elements until I can breed something else that might have shorter average fails.

Evidently 4 elements are not required to breed the Astro. We obviously need more info on this bot.
I'm happy to play along in this competition, though I must admit that I'm just barely starting to feel my way through this game and I'm not quite sure I even have what I need to get the astro. I did just manage to get a Mole Bot and it's almost ready to incubate. I'm at level 10 right now so I should be able to get it. I certainly will try. We need a second breeding site though. I am still trying to get the basic hybrids but I imagine I can manage to try for those while trying for Astro at the same time so I stay within the rules of this competition.
