I finally got a second obsidian to breed on both my island and cave. I had a ton of obsidian eggs on display but never hatched a second, I had 2 smoke dragons so now I m full on trying to get this dragon. Time will tell.
Thanks to all who sending koala gems. And to all still trying for this long fail time gemstone dragon.

Hermione2424 update: still no luck with the garnet, but she did manage to get a hail dragon in her cave. She also sends thanks to Balordo for the g'luck gem! Hopefully there will be more losers over the weekend!

I finally got my second for display. Now just one more for the baby.

Most likely coincidence, but here is what I did "to get it".
- Plastered an entire island full of gold paths, taking my visitor count from 89 to +160.
- Swapped breeding pair dragons. I.e obsidian from cave swapped with island obsidian.

This one is proving stubborn, over 50 tries now and another Lava plus Obs/Blazing incubating this morning after a Blazing & Lava overnight.

Just got 25 breed time in....wait for it.....BOTH MY CAVE AND ISLAND!!! Now I'm convinced its the lucky gems.

I have about 44 tries on my island and 80 in the cave.

2 of them have been successful.

Be thankful it's not the dreaded smoke. I've had my nursery packed with them on more than 1 occasion.

I'm up to my 46th fail so far. Let's see if I can get 60 or 70 fails before the end of the month!
At least I managed to get a Ruby after only 16 fails and a Hail after 3.

Still chugging along here with the Blazing fails. Thank goodness no Smoke or Lava! *knocks on wood.

Finally got my first Hail after many tries with Storm+Water. I know, not the best combo to use, but I'm also trying for my second Current.
