Thank you so much for the nomination as the next loser. I haven't checked this thread in a few days so wasn't aware of the tremendous decrease in participants. Congrats to all of you! I gave up & used gems to clear out another sun, but now have 8 hrs in cave. This has not been a lucky month for me, no Amethyst, Rose, Century, Platinum, only one Cyclops, and just discovered I must have sold my second Currant by mistake. Hopefully, your faith in me will not be misplaced! LOL!
Not that I'm not willing to go another round, but skipping Valentina's day from the bet does change things a bit in your favor, myke. I think you should probably pay up for yesterday and consider this a new bet, with all of us still in it. And if you are correct with the over for today, then I'll pay you 2 gems for making this difficult

Sorry to report I sped up the last breeding in an attempt to get an Amethsyt tonight before I go to bed, but no luck--it's another 8 hrs.
This morning, Hermione2424 cleared out her snow fail (thought it was another blizzard, but must have misread the time last night) and popped Jupiter (sonic) and Snowflake (hail) back in, only to be rewarded with a 39 hour sun fail. So we are officially beginning our whining (the 12 year old) and wining (the mother) session! Please, just one amethyst!
She also received "and others" message this morning and thanks everyone for all of the koala gems!

Arg...both caves all day...another sun, and heck I can't even remember what all. I've spent at least 250+ gems just on trying to get this Amythyst. I really hope I get one at least!

Just sent out today's round of g'luck gems to the remaining contestants (and tommyB). I only have 5 of the remaining as friends, so sent FR's to the rest so you guys can receive some g'luck gems and bring this competition to a close soon. Somebody needs to needs to break this stalemate today, even if it means I lose another bet to debstoy.
