Since the eggs for the light & dark rift do not match the pattern for opposites, we are pretty much guaranteed regular light/dark opposites. I expect them to arrive sometime after we get all four metal hybrids.

For those of us with two of everything the BEB was really boring - nothing to but collect resources. Then the new Dark dragons were dead easy. Time for some new and exotic - and difficult to breed - dragons!

Thanks. Haven't checked, but maybe this will allow room to fit the full name of the dragons now. I name them by type for easier access, so names like Apocalypse don't fit. :/

The new font size allows for more digits to be displayed for the amount of gold accumulated in a habitat.

I'm loving the hibernation cave upgrade, rather than being shoved out automatically. It definitely makes things easier!

I am sooooo ready for Zodiac dragons! If they push Gemstone Island a bit to the right to keep Kairos company they would have room to put in an Earth sphere. It would look great there if the dragons were tethered to it in their proper places in the sky.

Or you could scroll up above Kairos and the clouds and put in a space scene to have for the Zodiac Dragons.

I think Light and Dark dragons would make for some great parents of the Zodiac dragons. It seems almost perfect.

So. This is a leetle bit of a whine. I got my garnet egg breeding, and switched to Jet. Breeding with level 17 and 18 dragons, (and today using both breeding slots) I have yet to get any time longer than 4:48 apart from one Evergreen. 2 Poison, Cactus, 3 Flower, 5 Firefly, 2 Scorch, 2 Storm, Ash, 3 Lichen.

Just had a look on the sandbox, and this is sort of consistent with the percentages there. Sigh.

Lemmyloop, lemmyloop, wherefore art thou lemmyloop? I've been breeding blazing + motley nonstop since BEB ended trying for a Seasonal and no luck yet. Also trying to get a garnet egg with no luck. Lots of flower and blazing fails. Been amusing myself feeding the fails up to 10, and my plant and fire shrines are now silver. I need some of the lemmyloop koala that you gave me before!

Yup. Got a 39 hr fail. Oh well. 

Edit: ...and a 48 hr in the EBI. From the short to the uber long... I will enjoy the DC from another DR, but the waiting time is soooooo looong!

After BeB I bred a Garnet, then spent a week working on Winter (and got my first & second Dodo as fails on the way, yay!). After that, I finished breeding basic hybrids - Iron and a bunch of Light & Darks. Now I'm finally working on epics.

I'm looking forward to the next dragon release but it's really nice to finally have all the basics!

Grr, right after the DR was a 6 hour fail.

I waited 60 hours for that 2nd DR to finish. It's in the nursery now.

If I get to 35-40 tries, I will consider Jet extremely elusive.

It's my baby Jet, then I'm finished with January's dragons in park 1. In park 2, I need a second Winter and egg, then I can be getting on with missing hybrids. I'll save trying for the Garnet egg until next year. I'm so done with that combo.

Has anyone else noticed the "magic" the wizards are performing on the welcome screen? The capital Ps on the privacy policy link are behaving strangely on my screen. I've seen Ts, blanks, a Greek-looking letter, and others. Is it just me?

Reading posts and visiting parks, I have notice several people who do not yet have Garnet. I just want to send out a special KOALA to all those still trying for Garnet, but also for Jet and Winter.

When I did a massive redesign, I used an Excel spreadsheet.

I copied a grid of dragons, and allocated their elements in the cell, P for Plant, F for Fire and so on. I then used columns to decide where my boosts were going to be, and the habitats. Each column represented an island. I then allocated the dragons accordingly, annotating a plus or minus for each boost. So a double boosted dragon got ++.

I then used colour shading to show the boosted, negative-boosted and double-boosted dragons. I could then see how to switch each dragon to it's optimum position.

I hope this helps.

Edit: The DV Wiki has a nice grid, showing the earnings rates of each dragon up to level 20. These rates are unboosted, as the variables are far too numerous to chart.
