My 5 year old finally got her Sun dragon out of the cave and into the hatchery. Put Lichen + Storm back in ... another 48 hours.
So bought her some gems so she can get the EBI. It's the least BFS deserve.

EDIT by N/A : Since we have noticed a recurring and frequently asked question come up regarding quests - i.e. "Which dragon is best for ___ quest?" or "Where can I find a list of all quests?", I thought it would be a good idea to update this post to show the main places to check for any quest you may be wondering about. Each link contains an updated list of all the current quests, at the time of this edit (March 2018), and these resources are updated regularly. So first, please check all of these when you are looking for which dragon to use for a quest. secondly, feel free to use the search option on this site to scan the board/threads for an unique word in the quest name (such as ephemeral, rorrim, runic, boreal, sneeze, akitu, belladonna, gerias, etc), as someone else may have already made a post about it and it may have been answered already. Lastly, if, after checking every link and searching this site, a quest is not showing up on any of these resources/posts, then it is likely a new quest that corresponds to a newly released dragon, whether from a currently active event or not. In that case, then you can certainly bring it to our attention and one of our helpful moderators, LOTVs, or quest experts (or "questperts", if you will 😂😂) will be happy to answer your quest query or quiz as quickly as they can using their Qwerty keyboard in a quality manner, that should quite definitively answer your quandary and quietly quash any qualms about which dragon is the best for that particular quest. Their reply can most certainly be quoted later on, should a quibble arise regarding which dragon needs to be queued up. No need to feel queasy about posing a new question, as there are a plethora of well equipped members that can quench your inquiring thirst for this quaint knowledge, even if some of us are a bit quirky. My vision for this forum is that we form a collegial community where we can chat a bit about Dragonvale. The discussion will be open with few moderator restraints. The main rule here is that no personal attacks will be tolerated.
My current endeavor is to level ONE dragon to 20. I've chosen a Clover just because I like them (would have chosen a Bloom, but they weren't out yet). Currently at level 19, but the ascent is really steep at this point.

So what have you been up to?
So we bought the EBI yesterday afternoon, got it about 6pm. Threw Cold + Lightning in there to make another Storm for our Bloom chasing activities. Woke up about midnight-ish put the Storm egg in the hatchery, bred fire + water for cash (she's not Level 17 yet so doesn't have the Metal dragons), put out the chocolates from the Easter Bunny and went back to bed.
This morning (Easter Sunday here, and Happy Easter one and all) got up early, tip toed out amongst the dew in the backyard hiding eggs, checked the littlies dragonvale account, hatched her Storm Dragon, fed it up, Storm + Plant in the EBI and 13 hours, just like that.
Also, chocolate eggs and bunnies everywhere ... going to be a good day.

Awwww, I so miss the days do Easter morning with the little ones. What a special time it is.
Congrats on the new bloom, it really is becoming my favorite dragon.

Next Update?
Wondering what the next update will involve? BFS is aware of the international nature of their base and following Easter I can't think of an international holiday until Halloween. Bloom is more of a seasonal dragon than holiday based - do you suppose they will introduce a summer dragon? And I would love to see some more animated decorations, levels above 30, etc.

Just want to say I didn't get my gold shrines yesterday...didn't have enough time to deal with my DV much...but in about a hour I think I shoud have my first 2. Yay! What a long road...lol I'll be working on the others slowly but surely.

My bet is another dragon here and there till the end of May (Glass would be very cool) and then another Major one in June, perhaps to do with Summer. I expect at least another 5 Levels with another habitat every jump, another Island at 35, and a Metal hybrid with either Plant or multiples of the others that make it a fast earner to make the use of the Metal Habitats (Diamond Dragon comes to mind, Metal/Earth/Plant ... though I'm thinking Metal/Earth/Lightning would be more in their way of thinking with the possibility of Crystals in the failures). With the enormous amount of earning available and the ease of shrine boosting with multi element hybrids I full expect shrines to go Platinum/Diamond.
Another rare will be on the cards and possibly shrines for all the rares so we can speed up their earning as well. Considering they're 48 hour dragons and people would be sorely tempted to spend gems to speed them up, I'm surprised rare shrines don't already exist.
What I'd really like is something I can't think of that changes things in a big way. Like the way shrines were introduced to make an entirely new facet to the game. I would like to think they've got still got some original ideas at BFS.
