Actually, my experience is that they stop working altogether once the magic smoke leaves the device. I have seen it happen many times. Usually when the smoke gets frightened by the big bad thunder god. I have never worked out why it doesn't just hunker down inside instead of trying to run away.
Being a ghost with no eyes, I can see why you would think you should hunker down, however it's hard to hunker when you have little to no mass and can't find a place to go to

Yes, if they lose all the magic smoke, they will stop working. But if they only lose part of it, erratic behavior can result. Of course, that can also happen if the wizards don't get the spell quite right, in which case you just have to wait for them to fix the spells.

I am VERY disappointed we are not seeing the Mithril dragon. I have my last winter coming. And my first Hypnotic, so it will be a while before I can try for some metals.

Agreed. I really enjoy that BFS has been pushing their dragon designs lately. Especially with the dark dragons. Love the strangeness that they all seem to have.

Something weird happens. I can't breed my 2 gift. I need the egg for dispay but once i choose gift in the left side, the gift in the right side just darken means i can't choose it. I just updating my game last which makes me thinking is it a new rule in breeding? Or something not right in my game. Btw, i play on android.

You should always be able to breed like + like. Except gems as they cannot breed at all.
I had a breeding spot clear so I checked mine. I CAN breed gift + gift. SO it is almost certainly a glitch. I am on iDevice though, so it may be Android wide or just you. Have you tried selecting on the right first? And selecting the other Gift first? Given that it's a glitch almost any permutation may clear it.
If it is still bad, do a full restart, then a full reinstall if that fails - you shouldn't lose your park if it is on the server. If all else fails send an email to BFS support. There is a link on the options screen.
EDIT: Your second gift is high enough to breed isn't it?

I can assure you that BFS will answer regardless whether you ever purchased anything or not. I had 2 tickets open with them so far and never purchased anything. Received help on both of them. Answers sometimes take a little longer than I would like, but I am also in a different time zone. The last question I had open with support took a record 10 minutes before I received an answer. I think they are really customer-oriented. Koala to your gifts!

Same thing happened to me. I tried to get a Gold pedestal with Gold and Gold, but could not. Option to select another Gold was not available. It was late that night, I left it. Deleted DV and downloaded my backup from the previous morning. Problem solved.
BFS will reply to your email. However it is midnight here, give them few more hours.
