Not exactly a Pollyanna moment, but it shows I have hope of some sort, lol....
I have been working on taking off the crowns and baubles from all my dragons. I started this in the rift a couple months ago when I was having trouble exiting the rift...the game would crash, so I figured it might help to remove them, and, I really don't love or hate them, so it made sense. I am hoping that if they do leave it running but unsupported, not having them on will help until someone saves the Vale.
I am also trying to decide on what to do if the unthinkable happens. One idea is to store most of my dragons and habitats and only display my most favorites.
Not sure when, but we now have the new winter data in all our files. Two of the new golden hybrids are in there along with one new winter 19 dragon so far. And a new type of game to play, if I'm reading it correctly.
Edit: Looks like it will start on the 19th of Dec, and run through Feb 5th 2020.

I'm working on decorating with the autumn treats, adding more trees and enlarging a couple habitats. I'll soon have pictures to add to the park thread.
I'm also trying for Harvest Moon. No luck there, but I have finally managed to breed Harvest, so yay! Success! 🍁🙂🍁

Thank you Quil for the information that there will be a Winter Event. I know that it was rumoured, but it is nice to have the confirmation. Running through to February is going to make it a long winter.

My first goal is to get all the ghostlies and the rifted Om of Noms dragons. (Spending up to 10,000E trying to breed Cumberpatch every day, with only a rifted Monolith 6 to breed with the Cactus). Then all the ghostly pedestals and the rifted pedestals of the all the rifted dragons that I have. Finally all the missing rifted and twin dragons and their pedestals.
I am very happy for the down time and hope it will last. I have not been this relaxed and enjoying the game since the end of the Halloween event.

HASBRO, the toy corporation who owns BFS/DV and laid off the DV staff, made their big announcement...they’ve announced an entire line of Baby Yoda toys...the $$$$ saved by shutting down BFS probably helped or was needed to bring out the Baby Yoda line...the timing of Yoda and shutting down DV is NOT likely a coincidence.

Goes to show Star Wars toys are more important and HASBRO thinks will bring in big 💰💲💵 when the new movie comes out Dec 20th. ( Yes I know that what companies are looking for.) Still!!!! If the toy looks like the picture you would think it would scare the kids.? Just saying!😊

Amazon is selling the Baby Yoda plushie for $24.99 (it takes => $25.00 for free shipping). Don’t know what HASBRO sold them to Amazon for but figure 1/2 that. Regardless, they’re gonna sell a ton of them BUT, back in the days before HAS bought out BFS, I probably spent maybe $100.00 - $150.00 per year...that’s 6 Baby Yodas per year. I know there were a lot of DV players who spent more. Once BFS started going nuts with Events, The Rift and the cost of things, I quit spending anything on DV (and I think a lot of other DV players did the same). I think HAS’ ‘greed’ w/DV is what led it’s demise. Wish I knew the figures on DV; how many players, how much revenue generated both before and after HASBRO’s takeover.
